Hi - I have never reviewed anywhere before but just had such a beautiful time in Seychelles I just had to write about it. We stayed and got married at the Sainte Anne Resort and could not wish for a better resort, we absolutely adored it. The in house co-ordinator was fab, she just took care of everything and on...

Having got married at the Shandrani in Mauritius we thought we would try another Beachcomber resort for our second wedding anniversary, we should have gone back to Mauritius. The villa itself was lovely, but they failed to stock the mini bar 4 days out of 10 plus we had to leave notes for this to be done plus restock the...

My husband and I have just stayed at Sainte Anne for a week and can't wait to go back! Beachcomber have excelled themselves with this beautiful all villa resort. We stayed in a Garden Villa, which was very private and spacious. The bed was super comfortable and we loved the outdoor shower! The room had all the mod cons you...

Having just returned from two weeks holiday at Sainte Anne Resort I must take issue with some of the negativity that other reviews contain. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but expecting perfection on every count in a tropical environment and on an island ten to fifteen minutes away from the main isle of Mahe by launch is unrealistic. The...

This resort has so much going for it but lets itself down in ways which could be easily avoided. We chose the resort expecting to be able to explore the island, snorkel in the marine reserve, and to have 5* service such as we have experienced in the Maldives and Dubai. The location is beautiful. Lush green tropical vegetation, fine...

We have just returned from a trip to this resort in September 2011, and we really enjoyed ourselves. If you are looking for a place to unwind and relax in peace and tranquility, then this is the place. Everything about transfers from the mainland to the island are carried out with military precision. The boat trip is about 10 minutes,...

It is an idyllic all inclusive resort that faces the mainland and is convenient to reach from the international airport - just a short road trip into town and then a 10 minute boat ride. Arriving with family and jet lag, the prospect of an additional local flight did not appeal. The lay out of the main buildings and the...

This is going to be lengthy but please stick with it. I'll start by first saying that I'm not sure what other people's gripes with this resort were as we loved it. So the only bad part of it for us? The service. The best word I can use to describe it is 'random'. Now I've not been to a...

We have just returned from an amazing honeymoon and wedding at Sainte Anne Island which was completely idyllic and heavenly. Nothing disappointed and we were delighted with everything from the moment we arrived at the private jetty to the time we left. The staff are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble for them, the villa was beautiful and...

Hotel Sainte Anne is located on the island with the same name. We spend lovely 8 nights (9 days) in the hotel. Our stay was in Pool Villa located roughly 15m from the beach with garden protected by fences to keep privacy. Room was very good equipped with mini-bar, air-condition, TV and WiFi internet. Room and bath was very clean...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
One island, one resort in Seychelles If you are dreaming of a luxury holiday in the Seychelles, choose the Sainte Anne Island, a Beachcomber hotel set on an exclusive private island. Sainte Anne Island is undeniably one of the finest hotels in the Seychelles and an ideal choice for couples and honeymooners. An optional all-inclusive package offers you carefree holidays from the moment you arrive until the day of departure. Accommodation is in 87 private villas, 29 of which have private pools. All are set on a 220-hectare private island, surrounded by one of the largest marine parks in the Indian Ocean. Sainte Anne Island blends seamlessly with nature. Lazy days can be spent discovering the island's natural delights. On the pristine beaches, strewn with granite rocks, the only footsteps that you will see will be your own... Colourful bougainvilleas, frangipane trees, hibiscuses and palm trees blend in with the original vegetation. Immerse yourself in an island of dreams and sensual pleasures. Superb cuisine is served in the resort's four restaurants*, which include three beach restaurants to add to the enjoyment of your holiday in the Seychelles. Sainte Anne Island has paid a great deal of attention to its leisure facilities. Nestled in an idyllic tropical setting, the Spa by Clarins is a spacious sanctuary for the body and mind. The resort also has a sports & leisure centre. In the crystal-clear waters of the marine park, a colourful kingdom of sea-life is ready to be explored. The underwater kaleidoscope of colours, shapes and slants of light swirls with innumerable fish species while spectacular corals, sea anemones and algae act as a fascinating stage set. Departing from the sports centre, three different treks invite you to discover the many facets of Sainte Anne Island under the guidance of the qualified staff. Another plus is Sainte Anne's location, just 10 minutes away by boat from Mahe, making it a convenient stepping-stone for island hopping in the Seychelles. *The hotel reserves the right to close up to two restaurants throughout the year. ... more   less
