I saw some of the bad reviews and was concerned, but now that I have stayed at the hotel I have no idea what they were talking about except that there are cup of noodles with the breakfast (noodles being standard breakfast fare in Asia)....More
On a budget you get a budget place to stay. Close to subway many restaurants mostly asian busy streets working class neighborhood. Left some expensive sunglasses and they ups them to florida for me. All in all not a bad place but it is a...More
Good hotel, kind staff, but a bit overpriced. I would stay here again in the future. They do not have parking space for larger vehicles. We got there very late, were exhausted and although it says they have parking, my car was too big
I needed a hotel at the last minute and all the prices were outrageous but I found this one for a very good price, I later had second thoughts after seeing very bad reviews, but actually getting there the place was clean staff was nice...More

Not spick and span, but generally clean. Checked for bed bugs with flashlights and did not find any. It is a place to sleep, not a place to spend any real time. It is a great price, by the subway, Citi Field and US Open. You are in China Town and the restaurants and bakeries are great. If none of those external amenities and the low price appeal to you it is not for you. If you want a hotel with amenities, services, and perfectly clean rooms then plan to spend much more money. It was just fine for my son and I. We knew what we were getting into (thanks to Travel Advisor reviews) and it was perfect for us!

This hotel has no continental breakfast at all. It's breakfast has only 1 type of loaf bread, no cheese, only cold sausage, boiled egg, and cold waffle. Overall the breakfast couldn't fit onto a single table, only the cheerio are a saving grace.
There is no restaurant or pool inside the hotel. In actuality this place couldn't be considered as a hotel, not even a motel, only a place where you can sleep and have a shower. The room are fairly sanitized but not clean, as I found an eaten ice cream cup under the table, the housekeeping didn't even see it.
And finally it has no shuttle available to any places in NYC, it is close to the subway station but that is all.
