This was our first trip to the Hampton's together, and we couldn't be more pleased with our experience. The staff was great! Particularly the inn keeper, Randye who was wonderful and very knowledgeable of the area and helped us plan our daily activities. Also the general manager, Carol, who showed us to our room (#6: a delightful room with an...

My wife and I had never been to the "Hamptons" and wanted to enjoy our first visit. I had discovered The 1770 House in my AAA book but was delighted when I spoke to the inn keeper, Randye, over the phone. She provided me wonderful material to prepare for the trip and her enthusiasm for the area increased our excitement...

The Inn is truly a wonderful property, capturing old world beauty and charm. Although a historic spot, the Inn features luxurious updates such as floor-to-ceiling marble bathrooms, plush beds and fine linens. Not only are the rooms fabulous, the food and staff are incredible. We ate both in the formal dining room and Tavern for dinner and loved every dish....

This was our first trip to the Hamptons and I couldn't wait to get to East Hampton. We have stayed at B&Bs before and they've always been wonderful. I don't even know where to begin as there was so much about this place that disappointed us. We were charged $730 plus tax for Room #6, which I believe was the...

Please accept my apology for your experience at The 1770 House. The Inn and the restaurant are equally important. We want our Inn guests to feel welcome and comfortable during their stay, as much as we want restaurant guests to enjoy a delicious meal with top notch service. Your comments are important to us. I hope that if you travel...

I can't say enough about this inn. I took my wife of 36 years for something different. I have NEVER been a B & B person. Four seasons is more my style.
