We stayed here in early June for a nearby wedding. First and foremost, Jack and Joanne, the owners, are the friendliest, most accommodating hosts you could want. They are more than willing to share the history of their home with you, and to advise you on the best sights and restaurants in the area. The home was lovingly restored, and...

Just a short drive to local Irish festivals and skiing in the Catskills is this B&B. It is about 40 minutes south of Albany, and is worth the beautiful drive. We have stayed at this bed and breakfast many times, requesting the Mary Iris Room which has its own bathroom. Some rooms share a bathroom in the hallway, others are...

The Deer Watch Inn is a must see, must stay Inn!! Hosts, JoAnn and Jack are the sweetest people who make you feel right at home. They are easy and fun to talk to, and knew the best spots for leaf peeping! What a breathtakiing area. We chose the "Iris" room which overlooks the pond. The room was very pretty,...

My husband and I truly enjoyed staying at the Deer Watch Inn. An acquaintance of ours (singer Andy Cooney) referred us over to his friend's B & B. Jo-Ann and Jack are the most wonderful people you'd ever want to meet. They are very friendly, accommodating to our needs and will direct us to any place we'd like to go...

A wonderful place to stay. Jo-Ann and Jack are very hospitable and helpful. They know the area well and make excellent recommendations about excursions. The rooms are charming and historic. The food is delicious, and the hot tub is very relaxing. The inn is eco-friendly and great for kids. Highly recommended!

We just returned from a two night stay and had to post a glowing review of this lovely B & B. This historic house is beautifully and lovingly maintained, the setting is wonderful, breakfast is delicious and there really are deer here, not to mention super-sized koi in the pond. The best part of this place is the graciousness of...

We stayed at the Deer Watch Inn for 4 nights in July. Jo-Ann and Jack were wonderful hosts who made you feel very at home. The room was very clean, the breakfasts were homemade and wonderful, and the grounds with the pond and lights at night were beautiful. Would definitely stay again if we are in the area.

An incredible experience with Joanne and Jack , your host and hostess. All of the exceptional touches from beginning to end. As you enter the driveway a beautiful pond stocked with fish and meticulous landscaping greets you. Inside you are treated to utmost cleanliness, fresh ironed sheets, homemade breakfast, pleasant conversations and true Irish hospitality. A true "gem" in the...

We had a single night stay whilst travelling through NY state. The location is right in the country, and the house has a beautiful pond, full of fish, to sit by. The rooms may be considered small, but far nicer than a modern plastic hotel. One is welcome to sit down stairs for TV, or just read on the deck....
