THE gentleman on desk when we checked in at 3 was very friendly. The person on shift after him was in hallways without a mask and behind the front desk with mask dow For a hotel claiming covid safety it is sure lacking in it. I walked by at least 3 guests not wearing masks in lobby/ coffee area. Nor did staff request them to. Room is clean enough. Phone does not work. Stains on rug, busted door. I would not stay here past one night. Rust on lights and bathroom. No do not disturb door tag. I would not feel safe staying here without my boyfriend.
We checked in and went to our room. I immediately noticed debris on the floor by the door. I thought - no big deal. Then saw pet food on the floor. Continued into the room and found a notebook on the shelf above the TV, food packages in the freezer, egg scraps and hair in the microwave and built up dust on the entertainment center. I went to the front desk to show the clerk pictures of the room. On the way out of the room I noticed the safety latch had loose screws and wasn’t safe. I requested another room. Went to that room and found debris on the floor, food in the freezer and what looked like blood around the tub drain. We got a refund and left! I felt bad for the desk clerk. Housekeeping isn’t doing their job and is making her job harder. She was very apologetic and very nice. There were also people at the hotel that looked strung out. It looked like this may be a hotel where Social Services places people transitioning from prison to society or just came out of rehab.…
We were on our way from CT to Niagara Falls and looked for a hotel to spend the night on the way. Very spacious and clean room with 2 Queensize beds (140cm). Free Breakfast buffet is simple and acceptable. People are extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely a good place to stay at.
About the only good thing I can say is that I had a first-floor room. The room was typical of what I've found the Choice Hotels chain provides–a rundown location at cheap rates. Neither of the doors in my room worked well and I ended up putting the desk chairs in front of each door for security. If the carpet was vacuumed it was done by someone who was visually impaired. I saw no sign of regular maintenance in the room I had nor the facility itself. Thankful I brought my own sleeping bag and pillow. The bathroom floor was as dirty as the carpet. Other guests were present without masks in public areas and for a non-smoking hotel the hallways reeked of cigarette smoke and weed. As Betty Davis would say "What a dump!" Note: I did not book a room at this facility for myself. The room was reserved by the group whose event I was attending.…
My coworker and I came in around 6-6:30 in the morning and we had worked a very long day. 14 hours to be specific. Thomas realized that we were absolutely exhausted and gave us a 6 PM Checkout and is the nicest and most caring receptionist I’ve ever met. Along with that, he gave us some tips to help us while we are working, telling us that since we are day-sleepers, tell the hotel in advance so they can help us with our needs. You guys have a special worker, if I were y’all I would never get rid of him because if I got the opportunity, I’d stay at that specific hotel again just because of him.
We were stopping here for a couple of days to see friends, Turning Stone Casino and Onondaga Lake Park. Comfort Inn for the most part never disappoints. This was complete opposite of the Days Inn at Evans Mills Hotel. Service was friendly and room overall was satisfactory. Only thing I did not like was that the hair dryer was not working and they failed to get me a replacement after I told the front desk. Luckily we brought one with us. Location was good and close to everything. No frills hotel to be sure but I would say it was a positive experience overall.
I have to say that as always, this location was very accommodating and I’m very pleased with the new staff as well as improvements to the property. Cleanliness improved immensely since I was there in September and the staff is 100% better. There is an exception to this as I had an unpleasant encounter with a young lady at the counter who clearly had hygiene issues and needed a clear attitude adjustment(I believe she’s quite prejudice as well), however I loved how the operation manager Joey showed immediate concern and was willing to speak with me and make us feel better immediately. There was a young man who went out of his way to help us and his name started with an R. He was very helpful and the young lady Alya at the desk is a definite spitfire. She also showed genuine concern and was very pleasant to deal with. Thank you to Joey(I don’t think I’m spelling these names right so I’m sorry), and your staff for making up for that one weak link and because of you, we will be back. Until next time my friends.......…
A group of 5 friends stopped at the Comfort Inn for one evening. Check in was easy and the staff were pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The only exception was there were a few stains on the carpeting, and the corners of the tub in the bathroom could use a good scrubbing. Did not partake in the breakfast. A reasonable rate, and convenient, just off the Thruway exit.
The room was a good size, larger than what I expected. Check in was efficient and pleasant experience. The room's carpets were stained, especially near the door leading outside (I was on the ground floor) which didn't make a good first impression. The mattress was just OK as were the pillows, not as firm as I would have liked. It was nice having that additional space outside of the bathroom with counter space and mirrors. When taking my shower in the morning I discovered that the maid didn't leave shampoo for me to use and while I know they would have delivered it had I call the front desk, too late when you are about to get in the shower before checking out. The breakfast area was very clean and staff attentive to making certain breakfast offerings were well stocked.
We were put in a room that was already occupied...then we were pit in a room that appeared to be clean..but upon further looking we found somebody elses food in the fridge..there was urine on the toilet seats and the bed linen werent changed..you can tell somebody just slept in them the previous night
