A great stay ! Very welcoming from reception staff at check in. Place is clean, hallways/ rugs all nice & clean. Great hot breakfast - well stocked and maintained. Comfortable beds, large room. There is a restaurant attached which was very convenient. Highly recommend! One of our best stays ever.
Cancelled due to weather with other airlines still operating and going to our destination. They sold out so We have 2 nights here because of our flight changes. Nice😊 hotel. Warm welcome with a smile ( needed that due to our bad day). Highly recommend with the cost and the rooms are very clean and updated!!! Definitely would come back😊
I was in town to visit family. This hotel had high reviews and was well-priced. The room was definitely updated -- with cheaper materials, but still updated. There was a hair net on the floor behind the door but was otherwise clean. There were outlets on the lamp by the bedside, which I always appreciate. The heating/cooling unit worked well. There was hot breakfast. There was 24/7 coffee, which is always an appreciated amenity. There was a microwave, mini fridge, and Keurig in the room. I didn't use the internet. However, I wouldn't stay here again. Not a single employee had on a mask, in the middle of a huge Omicron surge, including the woman preparing breakfast. Most patrons were not wearing masks either. I'm pregnant and have an unvaccinated toddler, so it made me feel very unsafe. (Also, there is a statewide mask mandate, so I really don't understand why no one was wearing a mask.) The things I didn't like: they have the old-school comforters instead of the newer-style duvets that get washed regularly, I was hoping for better breakfast options, and the door was hollow so it was easy to hear things in the hallway (including the ice machine). I wasn't thrilled that there was a discount liquor store attached to the hotel; I didn't have any issues but I can imagine some partying happening with the clientele. I didn't try the restaurant.…
This hotel is very highly rated, and it deserves it. Although we did not eat at the restaurant, the hotel has its own restaurant. Other restaurants are a couple of miles away. Regrettably, the check-in receptionist never recognized out diamond status. As a matter of fact, she barely said anything to us. In the mornings, it was a pleasure to meet Dawn, the overnight receptionist. She greeted us warmly and graciously allowed us to partake of a early breakfast. This is important to us since we wake early. Dawn is important to this business!!
I was in Syracuse for the state fair and hotel prices had tremendously increased so close to the date. For just a few dollars less the options were not great so I decided to increase my search and found this hotel. We paid $182 per night, I do not think it is worth that price, but considering that really crappy hotels $140 this was a great option. The room is spacious and has everything we would need in a trip - microwave, small fridge, and a Keurig. The decor is nice and modern, the lobby is really inviting. My only issue with the hotel was that the AC made a horrible noise each time it would go on and cool the room. The toilet also made a horrible noise as the tank filled up with water, it took a few minutes every time you flushed. Once we fell asleep the noise did not bother us but if you are a light sleeper this might be a real issue. I would hope the hotel would fix these items. Other than that, all good. I would return.…
I stopped in E Syracuse on my way back home after several exhausting days at Watkins Glen International Race Track. It was an unplanned stay. I saw that the Sleep Inn was highly rated and had a restaurant. I pulled in without reservations and was warmly greeted by Pete, a fellow car guy. He gave me a great room, huge, very comfortable with everything I needed. He also gave me a coupon for a discount in the attached restaurant. I was very very impressed. The high rating was spot on. The only negatives were the food. The breakfast was a bagel, coffee and juice. The service in the restaurant was great but the food so -so. The next time I am in Syracuse and need to spend the night, I am going back to the Sleep Inn.
The room had bedding for the pull out sofa, minus a blanket, and a pillow. Got a blanket, but was told there were no extra pillows. Who ever heard of a hotel without extra pilllows? Also when I went to the breakfast, I was questioned when I took 5 breakfast sandwiches, which I thought was rude. When we went out for the day the next day, we asked if they were cleaning rooms and were told they were, so we requested ours be cleaned by 2:00, and when we got back, all they had done was replace the towels, and take out the trash.
Holy cow. Best hotel I've ever stayed in on the east coast Desk staff amazing Cleaning staff made us feel at home Seriously,,,, if your coming to Syracuse stay here if you want no worries... Awesome. Really awesome
I love going to the Sleep Inn & Suites all the time. The General manager, and the front desk person are so kind, and are always happy to see me. I also love how the hotel is decorated, and I like how the breakfast area is layed out. I always like to go to the restaurant called Barbagallo's that is connected to the hotel. I will be coming back to the Sleep Inn & Suites soon.
My family typically stays at another airport hotel when we have an early flight out of Syracuse. When I went to book rooms this time, I accidentally booked Sleep Inn & Suites by mistake. What a lucky break for me! Not only was this hotel clean, updated and close to the airport, the employees were TOP NOTCH! They take customer service seriously, and it shows. By the time we checked out, we felt like family. Our shuttle service to and from the airport was timely, and the vehicles clean and comfortable. There is a small charge for the shuttle, but it is so worth it. On a final note, my husband left his very expensive walking cane at the hotel, and they kept it safe and secure until our return from vacation. Do yourself a favor and give this hotel a try. You won't be sorry.
