This is a first class place with exceptional service. Well within walking distance to the Corning Glass store/museum and the Market Street downtown with many shops, restaurants, theater, breweries, wine & more
My family of six took a quick trip to the Finger Lakes. I chose to stay in Corning because of its location. We booked two rooms and were not able to get them connected to one another. One room had a partial riverview with a bath tub and the other had view of the parking lot with a shower only. I was so impressed by the cleanliness of this hotel from the lobby to rooms. It was immaculate! I felt that my family was safe and that the hotel took every covid precaution. I saw people cleaning the lobby constantly . You have to tell the front desk if you want your room cleaned or else it will not be serviced. The staff was extremely accommodating and the bartender Ryan was exceptional. He was pleasant and was able to recommend some great restaurants in town. The restaurant in the hotel easily accommodated my children even though their menu was limited due to covid. The hotel is in walking distance to the Corning museum and the town. My only problem with this hotel was that the A/C unit was loud in one room. Other than that we were very pleased with our stay!…
The Hilton Garden Inn in Corning is a very convenient location to see the Corning Glass Museum. The hotel is clean and updated. At breakfast, I forgot my purse by the table and was very happy when someone took it to the front desk and I was able to retrieve it there. I give the employees top ratings for friendliness and honesty.
Clean, modern & spacious room; good breakfast; nice pool; walking distance to the Corning Museum of Glass; late checkout so we could pick up our glass projects after 12pm on Sunday. The pillows were too soft, but the blackout shades were wonderful!
Rm 204 has a bright parking lot light that shines on the bed nearest the window. Would be easily fixed with a room darkening shade so this was extremely disappointing. Piled pillows on the high back chair to block the light. Other than that - very clean, quiet and nicely appointed spacious room. So- STAY HIGH AND GET AN ODD NUMBERED ROOM!
Chris was incredibly helpful on the phone helping me find a room for us that would accommodate we were in a quiet area at the end of the hall for which I was grateful the room is immaculate that’s comfortable seems like a huge empty space where perhaps a couch would have been more accommodating for relaxing Now for the sad part upon check-in, they had several treats to purchase on the ground level. However, there necessity counter or area was empty. They had no Tylenol nothing the following morning I walked online and it showed several breakfast options which were most reasonable however they rolled out a new menu, which was watch much more expensive which we were not made aware of when we came down at 9 AM there was a huge line waiting to be seated. The wait staff was totally ignoring the line. There was no waitress the wait staff was already very shorthanded it seemed and family overwhelmed.…
We stayed at the hotel for 3 nights, visiting the glass museum one day and taking a day trip to Ithaca the next. We found the hotel to be clean, quiet, and full of all the amenities you would want. It’s proximity to the glass museum next door and the downtown right across the river was perfect for our long weekend stay. And the price compared to Ithaca hotels was much more reasonable. Glad we decided to stay in Corning vs Ithaca, both for price and quaintness of the town.
Great, clean accommodations close to everywhere you want to be. Make sure you stop and see Sarah at the bar, you’ll be glad you did!!! Corning is a unique town, it’s like a Hallmark movie, no crime and 1000% safe!!!
The hotel is 4 years old and looks brand new. It is one of the cleanest hotels I've stayed in and the location to the museums and downtown was perfect. If we return to Corning, I won't stay anywhere else.
This hotel was perfectly centralized during our visit to Corning (and the Corning Museum of Glass). It was extremely clean and all staff was helpful and friendly. We loved that we could walk (and feel safe) to Market Street (Gaffer district) in 15-20 minutes. Market Street has shops, restaurants, and galleries ... it's so much fun to visit. This hotel was an approximately 10 minute walk to the Corning Museum of Glass. While staying at the hotel, we also took day trips to Watkins Glen state park (beautiful state park with waterfalls) and Seneca Falls (home of It's a Wonderful Life museum). The hotel also has a nice outside area with tables and a fire pit to relax at (no hot tub but we managed :)).
