Ditto ej667's review from 8/20. We had the same room on 8/22 and were extremely disappointed. We checked in at 4pm and left by 9pm after realizing there was no way our kids would sleep in that room. Great location but a very shabby interior.

First trip to Cooperstown and made all arrangements last minute. Very accommodating in setting up the reservation and check in was pleasant and very helpful information. The room was small, the bathroom smaller, but all was comfortable, and the flat screen was a nice addition even if I wasn't in Cooperstown to lay about watching tv. Perfect location, across from...

The inn and its furnishings are truly shabby. The carpet upstairs is old wall to wall and it sits in stretched out puddles. We were in king suite with torn bed skirt and throw pillows, thin, limp sheets from a bed-in-a-bag ensemble that was sold about 8 years ago. The sofa sagged almost to the floor. the window blinds are...

This was my first time at the Tunnicliff Inn and I was suprised at how small my room was. The bad thing about it was the bed was very uncomforable. There was one small window and half of it was taken up with an A/C, so there was barely any light in the room. The tv was very small. The...

Very nice overnight stay at the Inn. If the bathroom had been a little bigger, it would have been perfect. We had room 211 on the first floor, a nice-sized king room. Fridge, coffee maker with all necessary supplies, big flatscreen with blu-ray player. Very clean. The bathroom was sufficient but very small. Incredible location in downtown Cooperstown. Very helpful...

My husband and I stayed at the Tunnicliff Inn to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The Inn is in walking distance of everything in the charming village of Cooperstown, and the Baseball Hall of Fame is right around the corner. We were able to check in early and the person working the desk assisted us with finding parking behind the...

My wife and I stayed at the Tunnicliff Inn for 1 night in July 2012 during our visit to the Baseball Hall of Fame and it surpassed all of our expectations by a landslide. We arrived to the hotel a little early and wanted to see if we could check in early. The manager greeted us and told us we...

My husband and I stayed here for our tenth anniversary. We have never stayed in a bed and breakfast and usually prefer larger hotels. After much Internet research, I saw that there really wasn't an affordable hotel within walking distance to main street. We finally decided to try the Tunnicliff after reading the online reviews. What a wonderful surprise this...

It gets 5 stars for location. It's on a side street right off Main street. It's one block from the Hall of Fame. And if you're up early in the am like me and take a walk around Cooperstown, you will find that no place opens up before 9am. However, right across the street from the Inn is Stage Coach...

This was our fourth visit to Cooperstown and our third stay at the Tunnicliff. In all our visits at the Inn, the staff was always friendly, rooms was always clean, and it felt like home. One small complaint would have to be the size of the shower unit...but lets face it...you are only in the shower for 10 to 15...
