Customer serviceWe were in town for a wedding we had to book our accommodations in October. Call to see if we could check in a day early was told we could but had to check out at 11 to recheck in at three for the rooms we had reserved. At the end of my stay I checked to stay longer never did receive toilet paper fresh towels bedroom never made. Talk to other people at hotel had similar experience never saw anyone never saw a smile very rude. I had the photos of the bugs in the window sales was told they were on the water and they were normal
Accommodations were excellent. Staff was very diligent in maintaining room and providing the necessary amenities The restaurant is one of the best in Cooperstown. Food, service and view are remarkable. The outdoor patio and view provide for a relaxing atmosphere. All the attractions are in walking distance. Would highly recommend
Stayed here for my sons wedding which was in the area. Had a family of 16 stay. We all loved it. The staff of the hotel were all friendly. With staff shortages today, I did not see this here. The room fairys, as I called them, used their magic abilities to get the room back to the day we arrived. They had their hands full with all the dresses and shoes strewn everywhere. Rooms were clean and well kept. The restaurant and staff, again well staffed, friendly, accommodating and super fun. Food was delicious. Walking distance to HOF and many other sites to see. I didn't need to leave though because the view of the lake and the mountains while I sat in the Adirondack chairs or at the restaurant, was more than enough for me to relax and recharge after a few busy and beautiful days. I cant wait to go again and see what I now call my friends at the the Lake Front. They WERE WONDERFUL!!…
Serene lake front setting allowed stress to melt away. Friendly staff, very clean room. Exactly as advertised. About 2 short blocks to Main St and the Baseball Hall of Fame. I’d imagine it is even a better motel in season when the restaurant and boat tour is operating.
Disgusting absolutely disgusting. Whatever you do, don't stay here. The room reeked of disgusting chemical odor from covid cleaning. gave me a headache. There is no one to talk to other than someone in an intercom. I checked out at 7:00am with a headache from the odor and requested a refund for the second night because I just couldn't stand another night in this disgusting hotel. No one cared. N not even the manager. He won't speak with you. He has an email and does not return his emails. Don't bother with this dump of a hotel. It was my first trip to Cooperstown and I won't be going back ever again because of this disgusting hotel. Disgusting staff. Disgusting manager. Disgusting hotel.
My stay was just what I expected. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. It was close to all the sites I wanted to see. There was even a nice restaurant and bar on site. Check in was quick and easy and the staff was very friendly. There was even free WiFi available.
The room was clean, comfortable and quiet. We asked for a couple small items and were accomodated with a smile and lovely conversation. Anything we wanted was within walking distance. I had to use 200 characters so I wrote this extra sentence.
Location was great, just two blocks to Baseball Hall of Fame and Main Street with its shops and restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable. We saw staff cleaning outside every day too (steps, walkways, etc.) Great having a restaurant on site. Also offered free boat tour for one guest from their dock. Boat ride was very pleasant and probably the cleanest boat I was ever on! Short ride to Farmers Museum and Fenimore Art Museum. Only several miles to Fly Creek Cider Mill and less than an hour to Howes Cavern. We will definitely return!
Road trip with Granddaughter. Spent 3 wonderful nights here. The rooms were super clean, beds comfy and on-site restaurant a huge plus! Not to mention the view! Dont miss a ride on the Glimmerglass! One block walk to baseball hall of fame, who could ask for anything better! I cannot say enough good things about the professional and friendly staff..especially James for making our stay so wonderful! Thank you!!!
The location was great,on the lake and a pretty two-block walk to the Baseball Hall of Fame. Though our room was quite small and lacked amenities as refrigerators and microwaves,it was the cleanest room in which we've ever stayed, other than on a cruise ship. Many might consider it a renovated motel room. However, location and cleanliness matters most to me. Also,we were each given a $5 off breakfast coupon, and their adjacent restaurant on the waterfront certainly won hands down over the big hotel chains' "free" breakfasts. Finally,I enjoyed sitting in the waterfront chairs and walking the neighborhood and attractive town.
