I had trouble finding a place in Cooperstown that had rooms available and fit a budget as there is so much to see and do in the area you won't spend much time in your room. I found this place and it was exactly as I expected very clean, very comfortable, quiet not modern or luxurious and it clearly fir our... More

My husband and I spent the night here after a day of traveling and touring the Baseball Hall of Fame. We ran out of time and opted to spend the night. Pros: location to H of F, price, cleanliness. Cons: room was tired looking and breakfast was cold cereal.

Very plain but clean room. Just like the old days, park your car right outside your room door. No problems, good value among many higher priced motels. We were pleased with the room & a simple complimentary breakfast. A short drive from the parking area to meet the Trolley that serves all the Cooperstown museums.

Staff were friendly. The room was clean except for flies! dead and alive. that was bothersome. Very rural area with hot weather and flies get in the rooms easily according to the staff. Other wise bathrooms and bedding were fine. Stair ways to 2nd floor motes units and ash trays outside on landings needed attention. Coffee was good in the... More

If you haven't booked a hotel in Cooperstown during the summer, the price will probably come as a shock, and seem more in line with prices in NYC than Upstate. Due to Cooperstown's status as a baseball Mecca, hotels ain't cheap. For $136, don't expect much. But what it did offer was fine: Clean and comfortable, though small and dated.... More

We needed a hotel close to Cooperstown Dream Park as our son and his baseball team were playing there the whole week. I was very happy with how clean and nice our room was. We reached Cooperstown very early in the morning and it was pouring so there wasn't much for us to do at the Park. They allowed us... More

We were headed to Baseball Hall of Fame and looking for some place to stay that wouldn't break the bank. Red Carpet Inn was just the place. Although it cost more than we had planned, it was less expensive than most of the Cooperstown places. It was about 4 miles from town but close enough. The room was perfect; had... More

For a cheap night in Cooperstown this was the perfect place to stay. It was clean overall perfectly located only miles from the town. People at the desk were so pleasant and answered all my questions prior to check in. They make check in and check out so simple and easy. Overall very satisfied compared to the dumps you can... The inn is an older roadside Inn that has been cleaned up, painted and filled with new furniture. Parking right in front of each room door. Just outside of downtown village area of Cooperstown. Perfect location for the price. Beds average comfort, nice clean sheets. Shower was not the best, water saver type of shower that takes forever to rinse.... More
