We stopped here on our way to Maine and to catch the Baseball Hall of Fame. Our room was very comfortable. Our innkeepers were charming and breakfast was yummy. They are in the downtown area so you can walk to all of the attractions and resteraunts. Parking is limited near the Baseball Hall of Fame so we were able to...

My wife and i spent a delightful four days at the White House Inn. It is so conveniently located that we hardly used our car. Main Street is a few blocks away. Ed and Pattie are wonderful hosts, and the breakfasts are terrific. The entire staff is both efficient and friendly and the rooms super clean.

Overall this is a great place to stay within walking distance to Main Street in town. Our first room, the blue room, was on the second floor with steep and narrow stairs to that floor. Ed was kind enough to transfer us to a room on the first floor. Our second room was much nicer and larger. Do be aware...

Staying at the White House really added to our visit to Cooperstown and the Baseball Hall of Fame. We arrived midafternoon and were greeting by Patti and Ed who gave us a feeling of warmth and friendliness. After depositing our luggage in our lovely (very clean and cozy) room we decided to take a walk before dinner. Patti gave us...

Our family (three generations) ages 24 - 90 stayed in the Carriage House at The White House Inn. Wonderful experience! It is a separate building about 20 feet from the main building. The place was impeccably clean. To let you know more, I dropped a decorative plaque behind the bureau and when we moved the bureau to retrieve the fallen...

The innkeepers were very welcoming and knowledgeable about the region, and had a knack for facilitating conversation among the guests around the table. Meals were outstanding, and the staff went out of their way to prepare gluten-free food to accommodate a wheat allergy. Our room was clean and cozy and nicely furnished. It's an easy walk to the Baseball Hall...

This lovely inn can accommodate any size party. Each room is beautifully decorated & very homey; each has a private bath. We stayed 3 nights. Breakfasts are superb--and held us over until dinner. They even adapted the most wonderful recipes for my new gluten-free lifestyle. The lemon pancakes are to die for! Superb location, where you can easily walk downtown....

I can't go on enough about The White House Inn. The hosts were so friendly. The rooms were cozy. I have some dietary restrictions and they went out of their way to accommodate. It is one small block away from the main strip in town, so we were able to walk most everywhere. I highly recommend The White House Inn.
