Grand Hoyah Hotel offers value-for-money accomodations. Situated at the heart of Subic, it's accessible to malls, restaurants and leisure hubs of the city. We stayed here for 1 night and they exceeded my expectations. Clean and fresh linens for the bed, fully-stocked mini bar, complete toiletries, comfy bed and pillows, and of course, well-maintained bathroom (that's the most important thing...

King room bed is so spacious we love it so much. Location is walking distance to ayala mall and boardwalk area. The rooms are clean and nice. They have very accomodating staff who can respond quickly to your request. Breakfast buffet is average, nothing special. They also have the smallest elevator I have ever seen (can fit up to 3-4...

The hotel location is great but breakfast included very poor. need improvement on that department. Our room supposedly non-smoking but it really smell smokey...so what recourse as a guest could we do. I asked for a vinegar so they did bring and left it in an open counter to neutralize the smell. Bathroom is excellent esp. for my sister who...

Stayed for 10 nights and was happy with the overall experience. Room is large and bathroom although small has a decent shower. We were on the front of the hotel where there was construction on a nearby new hotel but the noise wasn't too bad. Breakfast is basic but a wide number of western and local choices. Service is friendly...

One of the newer hotels in Subic, Grand Hoyah was actually a pleasant place to stay in. It differentiates itself from other hotels by having its own karaoke rooms, as well as an affordable spa service. I stayed in one of their basic rooms, and though it was a bit small, the room looked nice and had everything I needed...

Back here for the second time. We really like the room size, location, and overall comfort. We booked the 'deluxe king with balcony'. The room is spacious and well kept. Very comfortable bed and bath. There is also a safe, fridge, and coffee/tea kettle. You also get a complete set of toiletries that are of good quality. The room was...

I have been to a lot of hotels in different places. Most of them are the usual type of hotels where you really won't get to say "well, isn't that interesting?" Grand Hoyah Hotel is interesting on its own because they have unique parts of the hotel structure which is part of your staying experience. True, the lobby may be...

This is an average hotel for travelers. The moment you enter the lobby, you can see what to expect.... Small rooms, and an incredibly small elevator for 4 people! The rooms were average and the amenities were few. The toilet and bath was clean and small. Service was poor! And the breakfast was forgettable. It seemed that the staff did...

We can't find any room along the boardwalk since the Ad Summit was being held at the same time. We've seen the facade of the hotel but we have not inquired before. While it is not in the boardwalk area, it's a 15 minutes to the beach front and a 5-minute walk to Harbor Point Ayala Mall and the Royal...

Location is okay, just a 5-min walk to the Ayala mall, although hard to find. Address is wrong -- not at the corner of Manila and Canal. Rooms are clean and spacious. Elevator is small and capacity is limited to 3 people. TERRIBLE arrangement for guests' drivers. Drivers only allowed to enter at 12mn, and are required to vacate the...

“You could ask for the balcony rooms at the back of the hotel. Choose a higher floor to block out noise from the KTV.”

“When you enter the lobby, you know your room will be small, but not as small as the elevator ( which are good for 6-8 only). As expected the room was small, the toilet and bath was small with minimal amenities. The corridors to the room are small and not sound proof. So even if i was in a corner room, i could hear the television shows from other rooms as well as the chatter of guests and staff in the corridors. The breakfast is not something that you look forward to. And the service is poor! Not really a place that i would recommend!”
