Beautiful inn on the waterfront in Cold Spring. Clean & pretty accommodations, decent food at their restaurant, good bar (closes at 10pm though), close to village restaurants and hiking in the Hudson Highlands. Totally recommend.

This place really had an old world feel to it. In fact, if I was in Kansas I would think that I had a room at the Long Branch Saloon (minus the girls and gambling). I would be expecting the stage coach to be pulling up soon. You can hear the whistle as the train leaves the nearby station. But...

The Inn is well located at the foot of Main Street. It's very close to the train station, from which you also can access walking trails. Some rooms have views of the Hudson. It's really a B&B with a restaurant and bar. THERE ARE NO ELEVATORS, so pack accordingly. It's an historic building, so the rooms are quirky, with little...

If you like old "quaint" cramped spaces this is the place! The Inn is across the street from the river so I'm not sure the extra money for a river view balcony is worth it unless you like looking at cars parked on the street and lots of trees. You also get to listen in on dinner conversations going on...

Spent last night there with my husband. The room was tiny with a poor view of the Hudson. The people in the next room were able to open a door into our room! The towels were worn as were the linens, carpet and furniture! Very shabby and dated. Came with an OK breakfast. The staff was not particularly warm or...

A bed and breakfast where there is nothing really wrong, but noting really extraordinary. This is not a knock on the place. We really enjoyed the place. The bed was hard and squeaky, but that is personal preference. The balcony was very nice and when it was pouring the little seating area in the room made up for the inability...

Just a one night stay taking a trip out on a visit to New York, which was very nice. Great location on the river front, nice room with a very comfy bed, and the blueberry pancakes for breakfast were excellent - too big if anything. Cold spring a cute little town, and the train trip along the Hudson was worth the...

My extended family rented 4 rooms for the weekend to celebrate a wedding anniversary. It was a great location with balcony views of the river and hills. Also steps from the metro north train station, and a short walk to the village shops and bars. The breakfast was yummy and filling, and there are cookies and lemon water in the...

On Saturday my family and I had a lunch at Hudson House Inn to celebrate my sister's graduation. We were a party of seven. The dining room is bright and spacious with lovely views of the Hudson River. Our server was friendly and professional. The food was excellent! Each person loved the dish that they got. They also served popovers...

Needed a break from NYC, and it did the job. Quiet (ish) location, nice views and pleasant enough strolls around town. The local 'Antique' shops on main street are just junk depositories and priced to gouge the gullible. Nice enough to potter around in though if your interested in the trail of consumerism through the ages. Bring several books as...

“We stayed in Room 1 with balcony, and little sitting area, small old fashioned TV, and not much storage space. Room 2 was same but instead of sitting area it had a closet, only an amoire in room 1. Room 2 is connected to suite 3/4, and you can hear everything. We checked out room 6, no balcony but same size room. Would not visit on Tues. Restaurant closed, and town empty. maybe just in winter”
