I was recently a bridesmaid in a wedding in Clayton, NY. The Wood Boat Inn was such a joy to stay at for the long weekend during the wedding events! Our trip started out by taking a sunset boat ride with Bernie and it was the perfect way to begin this beautiful trip. I will treasure those memories! A must,...

We stayed at the Wooden Boat Inn the week of my wedding at the Antique Boat Museum. My parents stayed in the small house and our guests rented out the rest of the rooms. We also chartered the boat for a fantastic night with Captain Bernie!! Bernie and his staff are so accommodating and friendly. The rooms were all impeccably...

I am happy you used all the services at the Inn. That is what makes it all worth it. I understand about the mirrors. We totally forgot about that. This is the first year we are having weddings, and wedding parties staying. We will do something to solve this. Thanks again.

Been to the thousand islands many times but usually only once a year due to high cost of staying in hotels/motels. The Wooden Boat Inn was definately one of the cleanest, well kept and most affordable places i've stayed, making a return trip possible more than once a year. The owner of the Wooden Boat Inn was extremely friendly and...

My husband and I had a weekend on the boat with friends. I can honestly say it was one of the best and most unique experiences we have ever had. The boat slept all 4 of us comfortably but the roof deck was where we spent most of our time. We decided to combine our 2, 1 hour boat trips...

What a wonderful place. A lovely setting, quiet, and immaculately clean and very close to downtown Clayton. Beautiful flowers all around. Outside area for bonfires and also an inside sitting area for reading or visiting. Owner very friendly. I would definitely stay again.

The Wooden Boat Inn is cute, clean, comfortable and perfectly located in the Village of Clayton. The owner, Berny, is perhaps the most accommodating and personable hotelier I have ever met in my life. Seriously. His genuine hospitality made a 'spur of the moment' getaway (primarily to re-visit the Antique Boat Museum) something I will always remember with a smile...

You've seen hotels, but how often have you had the chance to stay on a boat? I spent a weekend with my wife and two friends on the boat at the Wooden Boat Inn. Sitting on the top deck with a drink, a snack, and a good conversation is just lovely. The stars in Clayton shine bright. The boat has...

I think the boat is the place to stay, while in Clayton, as these guests did. These guests were experienced boaters, so their comments are highly respected. Their company was highly respected as well. It was as much fun for me as for them.

My husband and I and another couple (dear friends) of ours stayed in the admiralty suite (the boat) for one weekend - Friday and Saturday nights.. It was our first time in the Thousand Islands, we found Clayton a lovely and charming little town and our accommodations could not have been more perfect. The boat is moored in a marina...

You know it is pretty easy to please people when they want to be pleased. These guys wanted to be pleased. Everyone we have come in contact with over the two years we have owned the Inn are great people. Some have to relax and they do, then everything is fine. Another thing is the Village of Clayton, it compliments...
