We enjoyed our stay very much. The historic charm of the Inn and grounds was so relaxing. And the meals were terrific. The dinner menu was so impressive. So much to choose from! My wife has a serious gluten allergy. What a nice surprise that they have a complete Gluten Free dinner menu, too! they even had gluten free English...

I documented a wedding at this venue a few weekends ago. The room the bride was getting ready in was beautiful and lead right out onto the back porch where she and her future husband were able to see each other before walking down the aisle. The back yard was appointed nicely for a wedding and the food they served...

Stayed 4 nights in mid-August, 2014 in Ellicott Room. The room is thoughtfully furnished to provide everything most travelers need, including 2 luggage holders. The downstairs sitting room is convenient and comfortable. Ample on-site parking. The breakfast menu is well-varied -- Ate a different breakfast each morning and each was excellent. Also ate 4 dinners and they were superb, too....

An oasis of tranquility in Western New York, near Buffalo and Niagara Falls, this place is a rare gem even among the best Bed & Breakfasts. A beautifully restored old building, originally a gristmill built by town founder Asa Ransom around early 1850's, it has been lovingly converted into one of the finest, most hospitable bed and breakfasts I have...

We have been to many local B&Bs in the western NY area. We have had good stays, but Asa Ransom House of Clarence Hollow has taken the experience to having each detail professionally, yet personally, and perfectly done. The detail to service, setting, and the culinary was made to your order. The choices were plentiful and filling. We were so...

This is a charming historic home that exudes charm, authenticity, good staffing and an appealing menu. Each room was comfortable, filled with carefully selected, period furniture and a modern comfortable bed. The dining room and lounge are equally authentic and attractive. The breakfast and dinner were very good, with one glaring (and hopefully atypical) exception. My wife's sauerbraten had little...

First let me say that we only stay at select registry properties (for those of you who love B&Bs this is worth learning more about) and this was our 7th select registry property stay in just over a year and ranks as the lowest in comparison to our other stays. We stayed here one night, Saturday, July 5th. We stayed...

We stayed only one night but fell in love with the place. The staff was gracious and very attentive. The breakfast was excellent as well. We will be back for an extended stay and definitely recommend staying here if one wants to visit upstate NY. This is the nicest b & b we have stayed at.

If you are near Buffalo, NY for any reason this is an absolutely wonderful place to stay! The rooms are spotlessly clean and the restaurant is wonderful, and the whole enterprise is a treat for any traveller. Each room has period furnishings, but they are not overdone--they aren't the "teddy-bear" on the bed sort of cute. They are wonderfully comfortable...
