Stayed with our school for the Odyssey tournament at the fairgrounds. First night check in was easy, actually too easy. Didn't even have to give our license. Got to our room and there is nothing but two sheets on one bed, and no bedskirts. Pull out couch had crumbs between and under the cushions. No bed linens in sight except one flat sheet. Pull out mattress not even as long as a twin bed and you could see the springs through the material. Couch cushions were stained. Beds are also not comfy at all. When you have two beds, both should have sheets and blankets. Waited for a bit at the front desk for the clerk the next morning for a blanket and was told I could come back later and they'd be available. Breakfast was okay, but we've had better. It is not a hot breakfast as advertised, unless you microwave the breakfast sandwiches in the fridge. Seems that from the reviews a month ago that they'd get the pancake machine fixed but that didn't happen. No bowls, no milk, no regular coffee, same thing. Second morning was a little better. When coming back for our second night, had to go to the front desk because our keys didn't work. Again I had to wait for someone to come to the desk. He was not pleasant. First time he didn't ask my room number when he re ran our keys. Of course they didn't work so I had to come back down. As for the blanket, well they ran out. Oh well. No blankets for us I guess. Now, for the pool. IT WAS CLOUDY and you could not see the bottom. I made my kids shower immediately after. There is no shower downstairs as they claim to rinse off. Oh, and while we were gone all day Saturday, there was zero housekeeping. No one came in to vacuum, clean, make the beds, nothing. And we didn't opt out of that service. I guess they don't provide that? Good to know. It's not the worst place we've stayed at, but you get what you pay for for this place. And that includes the customer service too. Fortunately we don't go to Syracuse for anything. If we do, we'll look elsewhere. Oh, and the hairdryer didn't work.

We wanted to take our toddler to a local hotel for a night so we splurged on a room with Jacuzzi for $300. As soon as we checked in we noticed that it was dirty. We let the front desk know and their solution was to hand us the card to the manager who wouldn’t be back on until Monday. The deal breaker was when we turned on the jacuzzi and a whole bunch of dirty crud came out with my toddler in the tub. We checkout out first thing in the morning absolutely disgusted. Contacted the hotel for two weeks. Left messages, voicemails, emails and no one bothered to return my efforts or address my concern…. I had to go back face to face for someone to offer a resolution and even then I was avoid and treated like crap. I was told there was no general manager and the most they did was charge me for a regular room since we couldn’t use the jacuzzi. This stay was absolutely traumatizing.

I only stayed for one night and didn’t have any problems. Had my dog with me too. I don’t remember much, I had a few cocktails. Place was clean, bed was comfy. Outside and lobby area was clean. No problems.

Hotel had gotten my reservation wrong in their system. Had a fishing buddy of mine in a king bed room with a pullout when I reserved 2 queens. Woman at the desk told me I was wrong and couldn't make a change. Then I showed her my reservation with my Choice hotel number, reservation number and credit card number on my phone clearly showing the 2 queens were reserved. Then she said there is nothing she can do because they have no more rooms available. I said there must be something she can do. She said, "I am not authorized to do anything". Then she sent US up with bedding for a pullout couch. This person needs to find something other than the hospitality business to launch a career in. Ultimately they found us a 2 queen room which another guest refused and they locked out of their system for repairs. This is a 2nd, if not 3rd, rate hotel. Look elsewhere.

I'm not sure where to start with this one. Let's do the pro's first, I'm sorry, the pro, singular. The hotel staff was nice. Okay, let's move on to the cons. We were greeted by a sign placed prominently on the front desk, telling us that housekeeping was only available on request, and not available at all on weekends (see photo attached.) Went to our room and found what appeared to be a urine stain on the bathroom floor (see photo), maybe cancelling housekeeping wasn't such a good idea! We looked around for one of those hotel guides that tells you where the to find channels on the tv, area restaurants etc, but did not see it. I bent to pick up something, and found the guide inside a broken drawer (see photo), didn't realize broken furniture came with the room. The next morning we went down to get the advertised "full" breakfast, which consisted of microwave pancakes, fruit or cereal! To make matters worse the plastic silverware was not wrapped per covid suggestions. I was starting to think I was at a budget motel instead of a pricey one. Never again at this place. Choice Hotels should be embarrassed about the conditions here. Oh, almost forgot, our room key quit working after two days. Also, the door to the room didn't close by itself, and you had to be a weightlifter to close it manually because of the closure unit.
