We Booked our Stay here at the St. Elmo room 410, Wonderful Condo. The day has been been sunny and warm in the sun for late September. Brian and I are having a wonderful time relaxing. Waked the shoreline and picked up beach glass. Of course Brian needs to find out about his hero Trump! I hope any one who...

I could not be happier with the Saint Elmo! It's location and it's clientele and its management and the beautiful balcony views and it's cleanness. It feels good to be here. (But I definitely recommend it for a more relaxed older crowd.). Did I mention that it's location is perfect for everything?

My friend recommended this condo complex for our first Chautauqua visit. It was perfect. So close to all the action, yet clean, quiet, well run building, Central Air and elevator make it great. A great Spa, restaurant, ice cream shop and boutique on the lower level. I love the balconies and porches and the front porch rockers are the best!...

We stayed in Room 411 and it was very nice. All updated with new counters in the bathroom and kitchen. The balcony was perfect for morning coffee. The Institution is such a perfect place to visit. St. Elmo's is centrally located so walking around the Campus was easy. I would go back again.

Many of the hotels and boarding houses in the Chautaqua Institute date from the late 19th and early 20th. This hotel was rebuilt in 1995 in the neo Victorian style of many newer structures and given the name of the hotel it replaced in the site. We had an efficiency condo for the three nights we spent before the season...

Excellent location on Bestor Plaza! Not too far from Main Gate, the Amphitheater, and the Hall of Philosophy. The north shuttle stops at the corner in case you don't feel like trudging back and forth to the Fitness Center. There is a small shop in the lower level which has sandwiches, coffee and a variety of baked goods as well...

What a wonderful weekend get away, even on the off season at Chautauqua. Lots of places to eat off of the Institution. What a wonderful place to walk and think about nothing and know how lucky one is to be able to spend the weekend. Walking the grounds and reading a book at the Library located on the Institution. Library...

We stayed in unit 217 for week 9. This is a two bedroom unit with a sleeper sofa. There are balconies off each bedroom and one runs the length of the condo with doors opening to it from the bedroom as well as the living room. The bedding was ok, but could stand some improvement and one of the bathrooms...

We visited Chautauqua over Labor Day weekend for a wedding at the Atheneum Hotel but chose to stay with St. Elmo's to have some extra space with our 2 year old daughter. It should be noted first and foremost that this is more of a condominium/timeshare place than a hotel. The units are individually owned and rented by the Real...

We had the wonderful opportunity to stay at this beautiful facility on Bestor Plaza in the Chautauqua Institution. Each unit is individually owned and decorated in many different ways. We stayed in one of the units with the wall bed because we wanted to have the feel of a living room during the day. The bed was easy to pu...

“One can rent condos at little as 89.00 per night or 179.00 per night. All have full bath, kitchen. Don't worry about taking anything only food full equipped kitchens. Plus there is many places off of the Institution to eat. Short drive head West head towards Mayville, NY. YMCA located on Institution for swimming and fitness center. Golfing public course across the road from Institution Entrance.”
