We stayed here while visiting the area. The room was spacious and well appointed and only one flight up a beautiful staircase (no elevators). It is in the heart of downtown and there are many shops and restaurants within walking distance. Price was very reasonable, especially for the area. Only major drawback is parking, which is almost a block away...

Wonderful place to stay and dine. Staff is always very accommodating and gracious. Food was fantastic. Lots of items to choose from which is nice for a large group - everyone can be happy. Popovers are a special treat and downstairs restaurant is warm and cozy.

I have been to the Thanksgiving buffet and most recently the Easter Brunch buffet, both of which were outstanding. The food is delicious and the staff is highly attentive. I would recommend going for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

On a gray , rainy March day, my wife and I met 2 friends of ours for a casual lunch. We walked down seven steps to the aptly named Seven Stone Steps dining area. The tables in the cozy room are flanked by comfortable captains' chairs and we sat near the cheering fire. The extensive and varied menu let's one...

Absolutely loved our stay on Valentine's Day...our suite was immaculate, the hotel was quiet (ideal for a quick overnight get away!), and our evening was capped off perfectly with a stop at the Seven Stone Steps!! The continental breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed dining next to the cozy fireplace (given that it was -4 outside!). From start to finish,...

The Lincklean House will throw you back in time with elegance and charm. From the antique furniture to the clean updated bathrooms and electronics, the rooms were top notch. The Seven Stone Steps Restaurant had a fantastic steak and the bartender was friendly, fast and charming. Highly recommend any business travelers to stay at the Lincklean House

Although our room was pleasant enough, I was not impressed by the staff. It seemed as if you were an imposition rather than a guest. Staff not familiar with their town, things to do, eat etc. although I would agree the wedding was lovely and would recommend. Just do a bit of inquiring!
