The inn is really beautiful. It sits on a farm and the rooms are made from an old barn overlooking the animals and pond. The rooms are spacious, bathrooms made beautifully. Their was a little kitchen with coffee and tea so we were happy with the place. Where this place falls extremely short is the service. We asked and paid...

Me and my husband stayed here for our wedding anniversary. I fell in love with this place when i saw it on hotels.com but wasn't really sure to book it since people were giving bad reviews about the place. After talking to the owner of the place we decided to go ahead and book it and take our chances. What...

I went up to the Kaaterskill with my husband on the Labor Day weekend, and we loved this place. There are farm animals and horses on the premises, and the inn was decorated with eclectic tastes. We also enjoyed the jacuzzi in the room very much! The farm was very quiet and peaceful which was a great escape for us...

Attended a wedding here over a July weekend. Arrived Friday morning to the place to ourselves. Explored the beautiful property, played with the animals including the pigs and llamas and walked through the wooded trails. We stayed in the small house on the property which was nice but after seeing the rooms in the inn, would have loved to have...

beautiful property and animals, service was non existent...no lobby, no greeters, room not ready, place not cleaned after weekend wedding....insane. We love animals and very easy going so it was okay but not for anyone else. I think the owners either gave up or only care about wedding events. Do not expect an ordinary hotel experience. The room was beautiful...

My daughter chose Kaaterskill for her wedding recently. We rented the entire inn and the venue for three days and two nights. It was as perfect a wedding venue as possible. The individual suites were sumptuous decorated and located right on the grounds of the venue. The big house has a marvelous and spacious kitchen, recreational room, which was ideal...

We arrived on a spring weekday, and with self check-in, didn't see another soul until the second day. If you don't require any hand-holding, then there's a lot to like. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and blessed with fireplaces and generous windows. The bathroom had both a shower and a tub, and the kitchenette, while tiny, had enough dinnerware...

The Kaaterskill Inn is such a wonderful place. The view of the mountains is spectacular, the mini horses and other animals roaming around makes you feel like you are in a magical place. It is incredible that you can walk the property and the creek runs through it or just sit by the pond and relax with a glass of...

Where can I even begin? Let's start with the landscape. This place is an absolute dream. The pond in the middle of the grounds is beautifully backed by a barn, tons of animals, and the mountains. We were greeted by the ground keepers (Jeremy and his wife) who were so inviting and nice to us throughout our stay. They were...

“I think they are all good. The stairs to the 2nd floor are quite steep, so if you have trouble with that, forego the cathedral ceilings and stay downstairs.”

“The upper floors have sky lights, but the bottom floors allow you to walk out onto the patio and the grounds where you can see everything above anyway. We like the Cole Suite”
