Neil, hotel owner/manager has by far the worst customer relations I’ve ever seen. Extremely rude and unhelpful. Called us 20 minutes before our arrival to say that Expedia over booked the rooms (he gave it away) and “I’m forced to accommodate you, you’re not going to like the room.” Upon arrival, we played it off that he was doing us a favor and “taking off $20 of the fee, what a deal!” Made us pay for the room without even looking at it first. We had a wedding to attend so we needed to get dressed and ready for that after our 2 hour drive. Needless to say: Stains on sheets, walls, floor, mattress Exposed wiring in the room Smelled of cigarettes Hair/beard hair in sheets Proceeded to pack our things back up, after only 20 minutes, and leave to get our money back. Neil the manager proceeded to get hostile and yell at us and said he will not refund us. Just straight up said no. This place should be taken off all travel websites and probably be inspected by NYS Health and Safety. -100000/5 stars

Filthy room, and when confronted the manager was rude!! Refused to even reimburse 1/2 the payment. We had to leave and go a mile away to the Marriott. Un professional and disgusting place to stay!! The health dept should be brought in. Toe nail clippings and food in the bed!!! Yes that’s what i said!!! Disgraceful!!!

This Motel is in an excellent location for touring the area. Hudson, Catskill, Olana, Hudson Skywalk & More. Walking distance to Catskill, Hudson Skywalk & Olana. The couple that run this motel are very nice & accommodating. But the owner of this Motel really needs to put some $$ into the property.

If you find yourself around Catskill and Hudson, Peloki's motel is a really good place to get some rest and explore from there. I just spent 2 nights at the motel and will return when I'm going back to Catskill. The owner "Raj" is very friendly, my room was clean and cozy and had a very cold fridge an even a microwave oven, that I didn't need to use. The bed linenens were fresh smelling and spotless, which I inspect right away at any place, the wifi signal is strong and everybody has plenty of parking space. When I was there during hunting season there were several guests walking about in full camo and most had a trucks. Peloki's is located right near the Rip Van Winkle bridge, which connects Catskill and Hudson, and offers gorgeous views, specially now during late leaf peeping season. And yes, the rooms are priced very reasonably.

The place is an old 1960's era motor court from the outside and the room I was in was spacious and clean. The room looked to be recently upgraded with new carpeting and bathroom tile. Very basic, but my night was fine and quiet. The linens and the room were clean. The room had a refrigerator and microwave. However, if you're looking for a pool, bring a shovel because it's been filled in!

Every website I have seen that posts listings of this hotel, as well as the hotel sign itself, states that it has a pool. Looking at the grassy area in front where you can just barely detect a shape that may have once been a pool, it appears there hasn't been one in many years. I also saw a few listings that claimed "hot tub" and "free breakfast" Not a chance. This is a basic, low end, inexpensive place to stay. If that is all you are looking for, then you won't be disappointed.

Rude owner; he needs to take a course in hotel management in the US. I asked to change rooms because all of the bedding on one bed was stained (obviously sheets/blanket had not been changed- actually looked like blood on the sheets)- he initially refused, and only consented when his wife talked him into it. The room stinks- bathroom horizontal blinds belong in the garbage (and this is a ground floor motel - with useless bathroom blinds)! The ONLY reason we stayed the night was because we checked in so late, and there was a thunderstorm approaching. Drive the extra miles and stay somewhere else!

I never actually ended up staying at Peloke's due to horrible customer service but based on the rest of the reviews here, it seems awful. I booked one night at Pelokes through hotels.com as a cheap place to stay with a good location on a weekend ski trip. I called around 10pm as we were an hour out from the motel just to make sure we wouldn't have a problem getting into our room. The person on the phone in broken english kept saying "sorry, no reservations" "all filled up" "no reservations available". I responded saying I booked the room a week ago and have my confirmation information available and we are on our way. Did you give away our room? He said "yes" and then he hung up on me. I called again and after arguing for about 10 minutes he actually admitted he still had our room available. I think he is just lazy AF and didn't want to do his job! At that point my buddies were fed up and we decided to just drive a bit further north to the Comfort Inn just to not have to deal with that guy. You have been warned!

This place is a DUMP of all dumps!!! If I had of asked to see the room first, we would have NEVER booked it! Filthy, run down, horrible smelling, we checked for bed bugs, afraid to shower there and we had to launder all our stuff we had in the room it reeked so bad! I should have took the hint when the owner was so weird and unfriendly! RUN seriously!!
