It bothers me that no one ever responds to the Glen Iris Inn reviews - I guess they know people will visit regardless. But on the chance a representative of the Glen Iris Inn ever reads this… Dear Owner of the Glen Iris Inn, PLEASE update the Pinewood Lodge. It is now 2015, not 1995. Your guests are worldly, well-traveled,...

Stayed in this hotel whilst visiting family in NY state. It was full of charm and took you back years. There were very few mode cons but that was what made it great. There was one upto the minute element and that was the resterant which was one of the best dinning experience's we have had in along time. Food...

This is a beautiful spot. We enjoyed our stay in a motel-style room in the Pinewood Lodge, a short walk up the hill from the main inn building. It was a nice clean room with some knotty pine paneling and trees outside the windows. If you're looking for a quiet place, be aware that Letchworth State Park is a popular...

We visited Letchworth State Park last week-end to take in the spectacular Fall foliage. While there we enjoyed lunch at the historic Glen Iris Inn. The Inn itself dates from the late 19th century and has been lovingly restored and maintained. The dining room is quite large and beautifully appointed. Because of its size it tends to be a noisy...

After our hike, we stopped at the Inn for a bite. We were disappointed about the menu (just cold 3-4 overpriced sandwiches). The server was in a hurry as they were changing to dinner time. The experience was not pleasant at all, on all terms: quality of food, value and service. You are better off carrying snacks in the park...

This historical inn is located at the south end of Letchworth state park. Quarters are a little close inside the Inn but, definitely worth staying a night or two. Room prices are reasonable and are at their highest in October. The Cherry Suite is very nice and offers a private porch with views of the falls. The falls are spectacular...

My wife and I stopped for lunch and we weren't disappointed. Our B&B innkeeper suggested we check this place out. I'm glad we did. The food was good---very much in the tradition of how my grandmother prepared her meals. The setting of the Glen Iris Inn is stunning, the Inn itself is a priceless piece of New York history. I'd...

To be honest I was shocked to see this Inn receive a Trip Advisor Award for Excellence. Perhaps we just got unlucky during our stay. My husband and I arrived for a two night stay to celebrate our anniversary. Upon entry the room was not what we expected (we have stayed in hotels, inns, and bed and breakfasts throughout the...

We stayed in this wonderfull Inn for 2 nights, in a suite that over looked the falls. The atmosphere, accommodations, location, and dining room were outstanding. I can't wait to return next year. The hiking is incredible. A wonderful weekend getaway.

We showed up without a reservation to check out New York's "Grand Canyon" at Letchworth State Park. It turned out they have a tiny room that they only let when they are booked and someone asks at the last minute. We took it. Cramped but still perfectly comfortable and clean. We decided to stay the following night and there had...
