Found this place when our original plans for lodging with friends didn't work out. We were accommodated at the last minute for 5 nights, in two different rooms. We didn't mind the move as we did book at the last minute. The host, Jean, is just so lovely and accomodating. And she prepares a fantastic breakfast. We stayed upstairs in...

The place is just darling and clean with so much love put in it. We stayed there for a long weekend for a friend wedding and got to meet some other guests at the wedding who stayed at Shakers. All had the same experience. Wonderful rooms, clean, sweet and delicious breakfast. We felt like we stayed in a friend's lovely...

The Fern Room, upstairs in the old farmhouse, was our dwelling for a two-night stay. The nearby highway was quite quiet at night, so we slept well, and enjoyed the innkeeper's exceptionally good griddle cakes for breakfast both mornings (at our request)--a recipe of her own concoction, which she shared with us.

We stayed in the Willows Suite for 7 nights in November 2015. The suite is enormous and extremely well equipped - oven, kettle, fridge, coffee machine, very large bed, walk in wardrobe, bath/shower, dining area, large sofas, etc.... The breakfast is fantastic - different options each day, nothing too much trouble, hot and cold choices. It is a country B...

We love Shaker Meadows! It is a comfortable place with many price points. We stayed in the Willow Suite -- very spacious (1,000 sq ft or more). The full kitchen gave us a great place to cook our own meals and near by restaurants provided good food as well. A good sized TV allowed us to watch the US Open...

We stayed at Shaker Meadows for two weekends. There were 17 of us arriving at all different times and staying in the Farmhouse and The Willow Suite and The Spruce Suite. All of the accommodations are clean, comforting and comfortable. The two suites were recently renovated and are truly lovely. The Farmhouse slept 9-13 and accommodated 17 for dinners in...

It is like going to the grandmother's place I always wanted to have and staying with family, snoring in the next room included. If you don't mind close contact with strangers like sharing a bathroom it is fine. I did enjoy the experience and the history but would probably opt for a standard hotel the next time for personal reasons....

We ended up here when a nearby place couldn't accomodate us. The host, Jean, is great. The breakfasts were wonderful. We came late at night and left early in the mornings to attend the Folk festival, but it looks like a nice place to spend some time. We will definitely return! I have already been telling my friends to check...

We have vacationed here numerous times and have always enjoyed our stay. Jean, the owner, is a great host and excellent cook. Breakfasts are always delicious and varied with a good selection of food options. The rooms are spacious, quiet, clean and comfortable and have a kitchionette for those times when you want to do something with the wonderful selection...

This was our forth visit to Shaker Meadows. We had not been there for 2 years because we need Wi-Fi and Shaker Meadows did not have it in our favorite suite Now they do and we will not miss another year. There are several suites that have full kitchens, dining area and living room -- the bedroom in our suite...
