We loved the place. We enjoyed the nature in its finest along with being very close to the cute little village of Blue Mountain Lake (which does have a gas station / convenience store, so you can get basic supplies - and hot pizza - without driving far away). Cottages are close enough to each other so you will not...

Newly renovated cottages with amenities suitable for families married with rustic decor along the shore of Blue Mountain Lake. Clean and crisp. Thoughtfully laid out. What a find! Great backstory on the grounds and the folks that have moved this property forward. Had 2 grandsons in tow that loved the sandy beach and all the beach toys. Loved to walk...

Our family stayed in early June. Everyone was so nice and we enjoyed meeting all the families and couples. When we stayed the breakfast was included and very yummy. Make sure to stop and buy groceries on the way! There are no grocery stores nearby. Our family would like to return and we really enjoyed the kayaks and canoes that...

Prospect Point is a throwback to a time when kids just went out to play. We felt like we were reliving our childhood. This is a beautiful and relaxing place. If you are looking to chill outside at your firepit, have a glass of wine, and look at the stars, then this is the place for you! Loved it!

Prospect Point Cottages has become my family's annual summer vacation destination. Located in the heart of the Adirondacks on a pristine lake, PPC truly is our little slice of heaven on earth. Whether you like to go on adventures hiking, canoeing, fishing, rafting or more, or if you'd just like to kick back on a relatively secluded beach, the location...

Blue Mountain Lake is a destination of heart, mind and body for me since the age of 10, and without getting into exact numbers, it's been a long time since I missed a year at Big Blue. Prospect Point Cottages is one of a few remaining public places to stay and its perch on the peninsular site of an old...

What a wonderful little corner of the world! The setting is absolutely beautiful. The lake is pristine. The water looked so inviting, but it was just a little too cool for us to take a swim. We did take advantage of the canoes and kayaks, however, and enjoyed a paddle around the lake. There is a dock which was a...

Went first week of June. Cool but pleasant. Sun shine warmed it up. Lake too cold to swim but brought power boat and explored the lake. If you go boating get a map of the lake especially if you are using a boat and motor. There are some hidden shoals and underwater islands which can ruin your day. Other than...

We had an enjoyable first visit at Prospect Point Cottages over Memorial Day weekend. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate, and we did quite a bit of traveling to visit area attractions, but the cottages themselves are lovely. Most directly on the waters edge, each with private picnic table, charcoal grill, Adirondack chairs & private fire pits. Extremely cozy cabins...

From the staff to all the amenities, everything is perfect. We really don't want everyone to know how wonderful this place is because we want to keep it to ourselves! How does a facility find such awesome, helpful and kind people. They always take care of us like we are family. We want to live there. It is maximum great...
