My husband and I were not crazy about this place. Don't get me wrong, if you are looking for a basic setting, this is it. The house is very dated but some may think quant. I am a modern girl and did not like the fact that there are no outlets in the room. The inn is also located next...

If you are looking for a "cookie cutter" place to stay where you leave with no memories or even remembering which town you stayed, then this is not the place for you, keep driving. If you are looking for a truly friendly experience and want to have stories to tell, this is your place. Arrived by motorcycle after a long...

The Blue Mountain Lake Inn was a welcome oasis at the end of a long accommodation drought. My fellow motorcycle buddy and I had been looking for a couple of hours when we ran across the Inn. At first glance it's not much of a looker, but the owner Meredith welcomed us with such charm and enthusiasm that we decided...

Historic boarding house style B&B. Owner is passionate about fixing up the place and is very hospitable. She also offers tent space and use of a large, relaxing covered porch to cyclists. Within walking distance of a public beach.

We had an excellent time at the Inn! Meredith, our caretaker, was extremely friendly and helpful - from helping us get canoes out onto the lake when we arrived late Saturday night, to cooking us an endless stack of delicious blueberry pancakes in the morning! She had great recommendations on where to eat and what to do, and definitely made...

I went up to get away from the craziness of the city with 4 girlfriends and this is exactly what the doctor ordered. If you want to get away from the modern world and get back to basics, this charming Inn with it's kind and helpful hostess Meredith (who made us the best pancakes for breakfast and welcomed us upon...

My family of five stayed in the Inn recently, and took the rooms called Loon, Blue Heron and a smaller single one which name I forget. Staying at the Inn is like staying at your favorite, crazy grandma's place...you know the grandma I'm talking about. The one who welcomes you with hug, and always has great food, and let's you...

I stayed one night at the Inn last week during my bike ride from Manlius NY to Colchester VT. This is an old north country house with plenty of character, a comfortable bed, and quiet surroundings. I thoroughly enjoyed the Inn with its great views of the lake and the hospitality of the owner. The owner made me feel a...

I had a friend when i was a kid who lived in an old victorian style home in the country. There was nothing new about the place. The paint was cracked in more places than it wasnt, the screen door spring creaked when you opened it as did most of the floor boards, and it was heated by an old...

This is a fantastic place for large gatherings at a very affordable price. The fact that it's located in the most beautiful place on earth is a huge plus! My family has stayed at The Inn many times over the years for family reunions and large gatherings. Since you can rent the entire Inn, you don't have to worry about...
