This was a really quaint and secluded feeling little cabin/lodge. Plenty of space w a fully stocked kitchen and DVD player supplied. The young couple running the place were very friendly and helpful. This is the type of place you want to be staying if you want a little more privacy/nature and a little less of that industrial ski resort...

We knew the place was inexpensive and were not expecting luxury. We were expecting simple and clean. What we got, in our opinion, was simple and filthy. There were old nail clippings under the bed and grime on the kitchen floor and cabinets. The sink and tub were dirty, as was the bathroom floor. The lodge is near the ski...

While we are sorry to hear about your unfortunate stay, we are genuinely surprised because we haven't had a single guest come to us with these complaints this entire winter. Whenever we check someone in, we tell them that if anything is not to their level of satisfaction, to come and let us know immediately so we may address it...

I stayed two nights at the hotel. The location is great - really close to some good hiking. But most of all, Matt, the owner, is a great guy. Really nice, and incredibly helpful. He accommodated us with all that we needed. If I stay upstate again - I'll definitely come back. Thanks Matt!

We had our honeymoon here in the Catskills and it was excellent! We had cabin #1; a three bedroom with a fireplace and full kitchen. It had all the amenities you would come to expect, even the Wifi was pretty good! They are very accommodating to pets and allow you to venture out while your (well behaved) pet enjoys the...

Booked last minute, with dog in tow. The hotel managers were very attentive and helpful, but not overbearing (I like my solitude). They offer help with local trails if you ask. I did not stay in a cabin, I was by myself, so I stayed in one the hotel rooms, price was very reasonable. The room was very clean, it...

My husband and I stayed over a weekend in mid-September. I had gotten him this trip for his birthday (back in July). Thought it would be nice to look forward once the heat of the summer broke and families were back in school. I did a search for pet-friendly lodges in the Catskills and came up on this one. We...

My wife and I stayed over the Labor Day weekend for an event that was taking place in the immediate area. We opted for a hotel room vs. a cabin. Due to the holiday weekend there was an unadvertised three night minimum stay for which we were contacted by the hotel AFTER booking our two nights. The rustic description certainly...

The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful, lovely trail behind the cabins in the mountains. Cabins are very rustic, but comfortable. Couple that runs the lodge is accommodating and sweet! Restaurant near by is expensive and no stores close to buy water or drinks, so I'd recommend buying on your way in.

I recently stayed at Cold Spring for 2 nights with a group of friends. On the plus side the property behind the cabins was beautiful and it is in a good central location. Close to Belleayre Beach, Peekamoose Restaurant and not too far from Woodstock. The cabin was a decent size for the 5 of us. It was great having...
