My wife and I stayed one night in Beacon to check out this amazing river town. Well worth the visit. Mt. Beacon B&B was first rate. Attractive and quiet early home, with pleasant and practical inn-keeper - makes a great egg souffle! Literally at the base of Mt. Beacon (used for signalling in revolutionary war) - just a mile or...

I've traveled in and out of Beacon multiple times for work and play and this is the first B&B I've used. I'm not sure I'll go back to the other options after staying in this quaint, colorful, historic, and detailed house. Barbara and Lauren are a great mother/daughter combo and they exude both kindness and professionalism. The stay was very...

I just returned from my first trip to Mt. Beacon Bed and Breakfast. I hit the jackpot. This b&b is simply wonderful. Barbara and Lauren are two wonderful hosts, they are so friendly and warm, their b&b is so relaxing and everything we wanted. Their breakfasts are delicious, Barbara is an amazing chef, their rooms are so clean and comfortable,...

We stayed at this B&B for a weekend and had a lovely experience. The house and our room were both beautiful, the breakfasts delicious, and the owners were very friendly and helpful. The pool was a fantastic end to a 5-hour hike up and around Mt. Beacon. The house is very close to the trailhead of you're coming for some...

Just came back from a nice overnight stay at Mt. Beacon Bed & Breakfast. It is a lovely and quiet inn, with a nice pool (so enjoyable in the 95+ heat). The room we stayed in, the Captain's Quarters was comfortable, but the downside was that the bathroom is outside of the room (where there was no air conditioning). It...

My husband and I when for a "little" hike in the morning before we checked in to Mt. Beacon (almost 4.5 hours). We arrived to Mt. Beacon B&B sweaty, exhausted and burnt out. Barbara warmly greeted us and showed us around. This house is so charming!! Barbara showed us the pool and made us feel at home with towels waiting...

This place is 4-stars in a lot of ways. A beautiful home, lovely little pool, comfortable room, clean - some wear around the edges, but no more than expected from a family-run place. Lauren, the daughter of the mother-daughter proprietors, was very friendly. Unfortunately, Barbara attended to us most of our stay. I'm sure Barbara would be fine if you...

We found Barbara and Lauren to be so welcoming, friendly and accommodating. The Inn is so clean and relaxing. We stayed in the room with the fireplace - it was great, they had the fire all ready for us when we got home from dinner in town. The breakfast she made was unbelievably delicious - ricotta/blueberry/orange pancakes! We are already...

I stayed at Mt. Beacon B&B in December, a relatively quiet period in Beacon. We arrived later than planned at about 10pm but the innkeeper greeted us very warmly nonetheless. As it turns out, we were the only people at the B&B that night so we got bumped up to a bigger room at no extra cost - a lovely...

We stayed at Mt. Beacon Bed and Breakfast and it is an absolutely beautiful place. Clean, cozy, and there is a fire place in at least on of the bedrooms. They gave us firewood at night to light a fire. The breakfasts in the morning were absolutely delicious. Barbara is a magnificent cook who really takes the breakfast seriously, and...
