My family and friends have camped at this campsite two other summers before this one, and we never really leave satisfied. The campsite is overpriced. They charge PER PERSON, as well as per site, which totalled over one hundred dollars a night if you had a family of five. Why not get a hotel for that price? The rafting fee...

If you're looking for a family camp ground this isn't it.. Please save your money. The people that manage this place and camp here don't realize that the ultimate camping experience is about serenity and tranquility. My neighbors played music until 2am and were loud and obnoxious until 4:30am. The health department actually closed the swimming pool down during my...

THIS PLACE SUCKS! Save your 350 bucks and stay at any other campground for two nights or even a hotel. Pros: The place is within walking distance of the Delaware River. It would be a beautiful place if no human beings had ever found it. Offers Paintball, Rafting, Canoeing, Kayaking, Tubing, Hidden Horseshoe pits. Cons: Site was uncleaned when we...

My brother recommended this place to me a few years ago. So my friends and I gave it a shot and had the best time. Our campsite was right on the creek which made a great buffer for sound and kept the bugs away. It is the perfect place to go if you are looking to have some drinks and...

I stayed at the Kittatinny campground this past labor day weekend and it was horrible! I live in the city but when I camp, I respect nature and my fellow campers. Unfortunately, most campers were from the city and did not respect nature nor their fellow campers. Music blasting all night, screaming and yelling in every language imaginable. The facilities...

My complain in a nut shell 1. A mistake was made during phone reservation which took about 45 minutes long because I got a new girl in training. 2. Another mistake at check in with my campsite number 3. Yet another mistake at the "adventure check in" room/counter where they charged my account for deposit but incorrectly spelled my name...

I stayed for the first time at the Barryville campsite in July 2010. I was familiar with the area as I have travelled through this part of NY plenty of times before. I have also camped many times, so it's not like I have never experienced a campground before. Here's the good: I have to say that the campground scenery...

I will start with the pros, which are few: the area is beautiful, Delaware River campsite spot was great. Cons: We did come Memorial day weekend, so crowds should be expected, but this place was NOT prepared. We waited in line to check-in, to be told that we have to check-in elsewhere first, and then come back. Needless to say...

The staff is very professional. You can’t have a radio on past 11:pm but it was no big deal, There were fire ring at each site and the showers all had lots of hot water. I have been camping in this area for several years and have stayed at Kittatinny for the first time this year, it was by far...

“If you do decide to camp here (I wouldn't), be persistent in making sure that you are placed in a "quiet" area. When I complained to the manager (nice guy), he said that there is an area where the "experienced" campers are placed. I have no idea where that is, but I figure it was much more quiet than our spot.”
