Excellent two night stay. The guides M D and Alfred brilliant. The tents were magnificent and comfortable, but food despite requests for vegetrian person in our party months before and at the time there was nothing for them. I know its in the bush but have experienced far better food at more remote camps.

Our second visit to Oddballs was even better than the last. This time we stayed at Oddballs Enclave which was spectacular. Bit more secluded and slightly smaller than the main area which was great. At one point it was just us and one other couple - and in the high season! We missed our flight from Johannesburg to Maun and...

We stayed here for 3 nights, absolute highlight of our 1 month trip in Africa! The food was amazing, the luxury tent was so much fun with an outdoor toilet and sober overlooking the plains with wild elephants roaming.. At night you can listen to the hippos walking and grunting.. This is everything you imagine Africa to be and more.....

When you arrive the welcome is warm and friendly, then throughout the stay the staff is efficient and gentle .Doc the manager is very helpful and the meals are very good, especially considering how isolated it is the camp with supplies that arrive by plane . The tents are basic and showers completely integrated in the nature (photos). We appreciated...

The Okavango Delta is not cheap, so don't expect 5* fripperies for less than a kings ransom. However it is a great place to get up close to wild animals on foot. We spent 3 full days and 2 part days here and it was fantastic - we could have taken the 'trail' option (2 night outs out camping) but...

Oddballs was our second last stop on an 8 night Botswana trip. Overall it was a bit disappointing and did not represent value for money in our opinion. We arrived just in time for lunch at 2.30pm - first meal pizza with baked beans/ peas as the topping. That night butter bean soup and next day baked beans in the...

This trip was in August, 2006, but I am sure there is not much change in the camp. We loved the venue, food and tent accommodations, BUT, included in the trip is a 2 night camp in the bush, just us and a guide in a mokoro. We set out with our tents and enough food and water for the...

We had two nights at Oddballs in June 2011 on a family (14-74 yrs) trip to Africa. Our time there was great - we had hippos near the camp and had fascinating mokoro and walking trips. We were close to elephants both in the islands and feeding in the water. Staff were friendly, meals were plentiful (not gourmet, but that...

Since I am not keen on camping, I scoured the internet for a safari camp in the Okavango Delta that would be comfortable yet affordable. Oddballs Camp on Chiefs Island met my expectations. Running hot/cold water, flush toilet connected to my tent, heaven. All meals included as well as mokoro rides and bush walks with a guide. Since I travel...

We stayed at Oddballs in July 2011 for 4 days on the start of our safari around Botswana. I am now planning my next trip (2 years on) to Botswana and it's at the top of my list. The four of us stayed in the tents with outdoor shower etc which was fantastic and was a great start to the...
