Abu is a special safari lodge. The lodge itself is beautiful, although maybe in need of a fresh coat of paint and some repairs here and there. The staff is great and the service flawless. Special thanks to Quest, the manager, and Taps, our great guide. However, it must be said that our game viewing experience was not as good...

Dear sikorskd Thank you for the fabulous feedback we are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and only wish we could have helped I making this a 5 star experience for you, but sadly the unpredictability of wildlife is something we have to deal with on a regular basis. When I asked Abu if we could get married there, I never imagined how perfect they would make it. The tents are beautiful with outdoor copper tubs for bubble baths under the stars. We rode the Ellies to our bush wedding and the camp crew was fantastic. A night in the star tent is a must. Best People ever!!!

Maybe the finest camp in Botswana. The people at Abu. JamieRose and Aaron have managed this property for some time and staff and physical plant are consistently excellent. This place is spectacular, I picked it because you get to interact with a herd of resident elephants...It is in the middle of the Okavango Delta, it is luxury in the middle of wilderness. We stayed at Abu Camp for three nights in March 2015. This is a wonderful safari camp, with great food, lodging and service. The employees are very friendly and knowledgeable. Evening meals were either served on the deck overlooking the lagoon, or as an outdoor "picnic" in the bush near the camp, and very close to a hyena den. Everything...
