We visited the Khwai Camp in the Okavango Delta as well as the Lodge in the Kalahari with our kids and had a truly amazing time. The Camp at the Delta was very comfortable with excellent food but still had the „out of Africa“ feeling being remote. Hippos screaming at night and elephants crossing the river very short distance. The team is phenomenal with very friendly staff giving a feeling of staying with friends. We did a lot of game drivers and saw leopards, elephants, giraffes, lions and a lot of other animals very short distance. We also did a lot of game walks with the guides which was exiting. We than left by helicopter to the lodge which is in the Kalahari desert. You have some animals e.g. kudus or elephants as well but significantly less than in the delta. The lodge is an oasis of tranquility where you can truly relax. The villas are one of its kind with pool. We did a lot of walks with guides, joined some Bushmen for Q&A and did horse rides. The „night under the stars“ sleeping outside was incredible as we had great dinner, firetalks as well as comfortable sleeping in the desert. The staff was exceptional again. It was a unique time and all the family (kids between 11 and 18) enjoyed and want to repeat.

The perfect combination between Safari in Khwai and culture, scenery and activities in the Kalahari. I am an avid photographer and there photo opportunities was endless. Perfect stay is 3 day Khwai and finish with 4 days at The Lodge. As it is owner run they will tailor the experience to you! Was amazing
