We discovered this beautiful place on our way between Nata and Maun in Botswana. Campsites and the traditional chalets are both very well equipped and beautiful. spacious and immaculately clean. It is authentic and a must visit when in Botswana. The staff was very friendly and meals lovely

We camped for 2 nights and loved the place. Everything works. The way the trees provide the backdrop is stunning. The swimming pool is great. The restaurant was good. The sunset nature walk was very informative and ended with a beautiful view. The best is the floodlit trees - a real African Magic Forest!

Name says it all: friendly, well run, good food, huge pool, Great for the kids. Good rondavel chalet rooms. Highly recommended. You can't pick up water other than bottled if you want to head off camping, and I also knocked over their wall / sign at the entrance gate reversing to let another car out of the track to the...

To make sure this is relevant for you: this review is about the campground, not the chalets! Camping at Planet Baobab was a very nice experience after three nights at Ihaha in Chobe (see review). The lodge property is fenced which calmed us down as were underrated the feeling of sleeping in a tent surrounded by wild animals in Chobe....

We stayed at Planet Baobab camp only one night. Unfortunately, it was after heavy rains and our camp was slightly flooded, well nothing major. The facilities (bathroom/WC) were clean and I would say funky :-) It is a nice place to stay. One thing we did not like that much was the food in their restaurant, either too salty or...

The staff were, accommodation, swimming pool and the food were all excellent. The safari trip to Makgadikgadi Pans National Park was the highlight. BK, our guide, was tip top and we saw lots of game. Unfortunately flooding precluded a visit to the Meerkats, but they bent over backwards to arrange alternatives.

When we visited for 2 nights the Hotel was almost under water due to the recent floods in Botswana. Unfortunately we were unable to do any of the activities due to water levels. However the accommodation was good and meals very satisfying. Staff were excellent and extremely friendly. Would love to go back and undertake all the activities.

This hotel was really pleasant and as with most of the places we visited in Africa the staff earn this hotel 5 stars from me. Again it's not a 5 star hotel but being in the middle of a desert and choosing between this and a tent, to me this was 5 star. The food was absolutely incredible, honestly one...

We were supposed to camp at Planet Baobab but due to heavy rains, the campsites were totally flooded. The managers decided to upgrade us for no extra fees into the beautiful huts with private bathroom. We also had dinner at the restaurant and the food was delicious.

We stayed for 2 nights in one of the traditional style Bakalanga huts - we opted for one with a double bed that also has 2 singles - the beds are all fixed in place. This was fine, if a little dark. There is a en-suite shower and separate en-suite toilet (note there is no door to the toilet). The...
