We spent a truly glorious five nights at Jacks Camp in January, the wet season. Could have easily stayed longer. This was our last stop having spent a month in a number of luxury camps in Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Botswana. Without any doubt, Greg, our guide whilst in Jacks Camp was 'Epic'. His knowledge and enthusiasm made him without doubt...

We had an absolutely fantastic stay at Jack's Camp. It was the perfect start to our trip because without cell service/electricity (which we loved) we were immediately able to decompress and just enjoy the outdoors. The food is amazing, the service is impeccable, everyone is so friendly, the rooms are comfortable and immaculate, and the landscape is unparalleled. We went...

Jack's is well known and for good reason. You feel as though you've gone back in time with the colonial style tents and no electricity or wifi and sitting around a large communal table for meals. BK gave us a tremendous welcome and Ossy was a delightful guide. Although you don't come here to see game, the meerkat experience was...

We had a fabulous trip to Africa in August. We had 3 days in Cape Town, 2 transition nights in Johannesburg and 16 nights in five different safari camps in Botswana, South Africa and Zambia. Jack's was our first. It was truly magical from beginning to end. Our guide, Greg, was fabulous. He was easy to talk to, and an...

We traveled for 14 days to various camps with our family. When arriving home we asked what were the highlights (and there were many)--- unanimously everyone said Jacks Camp, The guides, the topography, and again the guides were tremendous. Many wonderful memories in a very short time.

Very much enjoyed our 3 night stay at Jack's Camp in late May. We found the facilities to be quite acceptable. We would have liked electricity but we got used to the lamps. The staff, food and the location are all excellent. We stayed at 5 different lodges in Botswana and are happy that our travel agent recommended Jack's Camp...

This place is absolutely amazing. Our guide, Super, was the best guide I have ever had. He was a walking, talking encyclopedia of all things Botswana. He knew every plant, animal, bird, etc. etc. etc. he was fun, entertaining and a fascinating person to get to know. When we arrived, the Makgadikadi Pans were completely dry. In fact, our first...

Go to this camp if you're looking for the most unique wildlife experience you could wish for. No wifi acces available, but do not worry about that at all. The very, very friendly and professional staff lead by manager Eric and his team, really makes your stay as comfortable as possible. Great food, great tents and a very personal approach...

Jack's Camp really is a magical place. I did not really know what to expect from the camp and the park but all my expectations were exceeded! The park is really something special, very different from other parks in Africa. Don't expect to see the big 5 but do expect to learn a lot about the wildlife and the nature...

It's been nearly two months since my visit and my Jack's Camp experience is still dancing through my mind. The Makgadikgadi Pans NP is probably not a first time destination in Africa, but paired with a good camp in the Delta, Chobe, Zambia, ZImbabwe or South Africa it would be a great contrast and unique experience. The stark beauty and...
