We were really looking forward to visiting Leroo La Tau as we had heard so much about it on a previous visit to Botswana. The lodge is in a great location overlooking the Boteti river and the rooms overlook the river as well. We were lucky to have all the zebras still visiting the river. The rooms have a great...

The lodge is mere 20-25 min drive from the airstrip. The staff was nice and very helpful no matter what the time is!! they come to your help. The location is quiet scenic, the rains have made the entire area lush green with plenty of birds. The balcony was frequented by the hornbill every morning. Night Game Drive was awesome...

This was the third of the three lodges that we visited of Desert & Delta during the third week of November, 2016. The view of the Boteti river from our room was enchanting to say the least. One can spend hours simply watching it. The river was quite low, and the zebras had moved away taking most of the hunters,...

We were met by Calvin our guide who is highly knowledgeable who took us into the private concession, this means that they can do night drives too which is a bonus for guests to see the night critters. The Zebra migration is between April and October but be aware it gets hot!!. Luckily the camp is on the banks of...

This comfortable, attractive lodge is perched above the Boteti River, a small stream when we were there. Within the river channel were thousands of animals of all kinds, large herds of zebra, impala, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, etc. coming in to drink from the parched surroundings. Lions were present as well. The rooms are very attractive, all glass facing the river...

We had 2 unforgettable days at Leroo La Tau full of a familiar atmosphere and a guide - Calvin - we couldn't get a better one. All the game drives gave us new surprises. He answered all our questions ( and we had a lot), showed us lots of different animals (including a lions family) as well as he was...

After two full days of traveling to Botswana, Leroo La Tau was the ideal first stop on our Desert and Delta safari. We were greeted at the airstrip by our guide, Lasty, who made our trip very special. We arrived at the stunning camp, to be greeted by the manager, Nelson. Every employee at the camp introduced themselves to us,...

This Desert and Delta camp was the last on our trip and we had surely saved the best for last! The Boteti river was very low, but wildlife around the water was in abundance. We experienced zebras, beautiful elephants, an unexpected show of giraffes fighting and an incredible lion kill and all day activity that included a stand off between...

We stayed in several of the Desert and Delta camps, and each was different and highly enjoyable. We visited in July, when there was not much water, and we saw a lot of wildlife. Zebras, Kudus, Wilderbeast and crocodiles were usually visible from the rooms, which are high up above the river and have a fantastic view. The staff were...
