The room was small and old but very clean. The price was very reasonable. It was a easy to get to location, just outside of the main part of the town. The manager was very friendly. It had heat and air.

Feels like a slow-pace summer place in the Catskills, $55. Family run, friendly, accommodating. Room was plain, clean and good size, with flat TV; good size, clean bathroom. Close to Bainbridge. - had great bkfst at Bob's Diner in Bainbridge.

We were looking for a simple, inexpensive motel and found this charming place. The owners were personable and helpful. There was no hassle or complications with booking: just give them your name and estimated time of arrival. The room was clean and very simple in its furnishing. Not very large, but fine for a short stay. The room came equipped... More

We found the Algonkin through TripAdvisor. I had my doubts as we drove into the entrance but they were unfounded. Our room (#18) cost $60!! As if that weren't amazing enough, the room (king bed) was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the tv was flat screen. The shower and bathroom were small but clean. The owner was very, very... More

We arrived on a busy Friday afternoon to the Algonkin Motel...the manager who helped me was great in providing the room I had requested. During our stay there had been a problem with the drinking water so she brought around some bottles of water for us and offered to get some ice from the "main house, their home" if we... More

If you are staying in the Bainbridge or Sidney area, this is the spot for you! Don't bother staying all the way in Oneonta. For $60/night, if you are looking for a clean room to spend the night, a room here is a steal! The bathroom was simple and clean - no tub, but a nice little shower. The bedroom... More

This is a great value and a good choice in this area. Prices in Oneonta are high for what you get. Nice people and accommodating. Places close by to eat. Quiet except for the occasional passing train. Flat screen tv, strong internet and bath towels that are not scratchy.

when my wife turned down the bed the sheets were disgustingly dirty and obviously not changed! When she called to let them know the gentleman that showed up with clean sheets had a bad attitude and when my wife asked him why the mattress cover was so dirty he said they don't wash them because it's to expensive and they... We not only own our motel, we also do all the cleaning and maintenance ourselves. I know for a fact that the sheets were clean. The Mattress cover did have a small, (pencil head size) stain that I had previously washed and could not get the stain out. It was on the side of the bed. As the covers are... More

This was a very good location for our event at general Clinton Park. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, a refrigerator and microwave in the room, and good air conditioning. There is no coffee machine, The shower is small, and you can hear through the walls. Luckily when we were here people were relatively quiet and the air conditioning... More

I stay here all the time, it is by far the best place around! Cheap and clean and quite! Big flat screen TV's, microwave, refrigerator, and close to lots of things to do. The absolutely wonderful people that own and run this place are extremely nice and helpful.
