Good, good, good camping! Nice service and excellent hospitality. We had driver "very busy" and "hard" to understand the purpose of our staying: see wild animals. His goal was finish the tour. So, we had to shout him to stop every time we saw something we were interested to discover. And he had to rear back the jeep and... we...

The main thing to note about the Savuti Camp is that the drive in from north or south is a challenge in all conditions. The roads are long and tiring so leave longer than you might think. On our way north we helped to dig someone out of the deep sand. Other than that the site is ok, good ablution...

We booked a campsite on Savuti for one night, because it was in our way from Moremi to Kasane. As it is the only place to sleep in between those 2 cities, I believe the camp management settles some high prices cause they know that people have no other option but to sleep there. We were 3, and for each...

Savuti forms part of our 'tiara triangle' trip that we do every two years or so (Moremi, Savuti and Chobe). I'd booked with SKL in good time and asked them to ensure we had good campsites and they even re-arranged our dates between Linyanti and Savuti so that we could have a better campsite here. Well we had the worst...

Great stopover and game viewing in the area. Ask for a campsite on the right as you drive in. Thick sand in some of them but you get used to that in this area. Staff extremely helpful. Bring in your own wood as they do not sell it at the camp.

Camp Savuti is in Chobe National Park and has both tent cabins and camping sites. We stayed in the former. The main lodge is a thatched open sided building with siting and dining areas. The tents (on raised platforms with bathrooms and outdoor showers) are a short walk away. The guided game drives brought us close to lions, elephants, giraffes,...

The campsite is good, but it depends where you stay. Some places you can here the generators very well and quite for some time. The place is great. At night there were lions roaring very near and during the day an elephant is passing by. The sanitary is okay and it was nice to have warm shower again. Downside is...

We camped at Savuti with a group of 9 in 3 4x4 's. The camp was clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Shower and toilet facilities in good shape and plenty of hot water. Only complaint was the tuck shop was closed until further notice. The camp sites were well maintained with water point at the camp site. Specially constructed bins...

We stayed on Camp site 2, we were 3 vehicles and the space was enough. There is only one tree in the middle of the site not much shade during the hottest time of the day. Braai area and a water tap which is quite difficult to reach but the night sky was amazing the sunset even better. The ablution...

We camped at campsite no 4 with gorgeous views on the dry channel. Lovely campsite but no electricity and running water only at the ablutions. Unfenced camp site so you get regular visits from wild animals. Small tuck shop available at the camp.
