The room was comfortable, the breakfast wasn't bad. The only real problem was the night staff, I don't know if we caught him on a bad day, but his attitude left a lot to be desired, lady on the morning shift was nice and helpful. Would I stay here again? Probably, because the choices are limited without going out of...

Spacious newly renovated room – all new appliances, etc. Good for in-room dining. Superb location for getting to and from the spectacular Carlsbad caverns. Rather poor continental breakfast but nowhere to eat other than back in the hotel room. Indifferent front desk staff. Even noting these criticisms we would stay there again – remembering to bring our own food supplies.

Visited the Carlsbad caverns which are actually located approximately 25 miles south of the town of Carlsbad (Important to know). The little two horse town named White City is at the entrance to the caverns (then seven more miles from White City to the caverns). If you visit the caverns you will either have to drive back to Carlsbad for...

This is the second Rodeway Inn we stayed at on our recent trip. Once again it didn't disappoint. The room was fairly large and nicely decorated with white. It had a good Internet and a modern flat screen TV. Because it's about seven miles to the caverns it was convenient enough to go to the caverns and come back a...

For the price, the room was great and the waterpark was a lot of fun for us and our little daughter (2 years old)! Can't beat the location either, very close to the caverns!! Just a note for the older kids and the adults, they have two water slides there that are comparable to ones that you would find at...

This hotel is about as basic a property as it could be. Everything was okay, but not really much more than that. The location, however, is outstanding, and probably the only reason to stay at this hotel. It is, I believe literally, the closest lodging to Carlsbad Caverns National Park. Otherwise -- it is about as isolated a place as...

Mediocre budget hotel. Parking is right outside the room. That's both good and bad. Walls are paper thin. Bathroom felt dirty and run-down. Paint chipping, tiles filthy. The one single bonus was it's located right next to Carlsbad Caverns entrance. Giving 3 stars instead of 2 just for that fact.

If you're looking for a hotel close to Carlsbad Caverns or you want to climb Guadalupe Peak, than this place is IT ! All the creature comforts worked OK (microwave & fridge included) & they have a waffle iron as part of their complete breakfast. It's right off the major road but our room was quite. It looks like they...

I drove from Santa Fe (around 5 hours) and wanted to see the bats at night. I arrived at 5:00pm and checked in. The man was very friendly and changed my room to the 1st floor. He gave me the information and I checked in. It was close to the entrance of the caverns, so I unpacked and went to...
