We spent a night at Grootbos in a group of 8- 3 generations with one member of our party physically challenged. The team at Grootbos went out of their way to ensure the physically challenged member had a room which accommodated his needs. Our guide, Jo, made us feel welcome from the get go and the nature drive was extremely...

Incredible place. Beautiful location and private suites that are out of this world. We were there for a wedding and it was just a perfect place - just a shame it was only for 2 nights. We had a very special meal outside in a clearing in the trees where there were twisted roots covered in fairy lights and candles...

We stayed 4 nights last week in a pool villa at Forest Lodge. We arrived from Cape Town to a warm welcome and our guide Bongani explained all that was on offer. We booked it all from fauna and flora open vehicle safaris, to morning walks, to community projects run and supported by Grootbos, to great white shark cage diving...

This place is lovely to see the natural botanical beauty of this part of the world. You can venture on horseback with a lovely guide, Sam, or in a 4x4, and I highly recommend Jo. We stayed at the Forest Lodge as part of the SecrectEats experience for one night. What a wonderful experience!!! The view, the food and the staff was the best ever. Will I come back, yes!!! The rooms does need a bit of TLC. The wood got damaged due to the sun and the grouting between the tiles needs some maintenance.
