We loved this place from the room (The Honeymoon suite!), to the food, the staff, and Stanley and his wife Lainey, all of whom try ( and succeed) to make you feel at home. We did a boat trip to a nearby island to watch marine life ( we were not in whale season),that had been arranged by Stanley which...

We enjoyed our stay at Whale song lodge a lot. The couple that is running the lodge is investing a lot of efforts and heart - there are lots of details that makes you feel almost like home and you see they want you to come back and not to just stay there once. Whether it are the descriptions of...

We stayed at Whalesong Lodge for two nights during an extended trip which included stops from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town over two weeks. The weather was quite variable in late October 2014 causing us to miss our whale watching boat tour which got cancelled. However, we greatly enjoyed our stay at Whalesong. In bad weather you are snugged up...

We are not the B&B type so maybe that plays into my 4/5 raging but the property didn't feel too comfortable. It is a beautiful property with an amazing view and location but it just didn't feel comfortable. Property is essentially shut down by 830 pm and you feel as though you are sneaking back into your parents house as...

Very friendly and accommodating owners and staff, wonderfully comfy beds, great location and view with lots of whale sightings from the deck. I also found the heated bathroom floors were divine! Highly recommended!

A memorable stay - the rooms and premises are great! The view just stunningly beautiful and a great breakfast just makes it a perfect start in a day. Owners and staff are super nice and very supportive! We were unlucky with the weather and couldn't do the planned cage dive but the stay was nevertheless memorable. We will definitely be...

Anticipate in season this is a very enjoyable B&B. Hosts were welcoming but as we visited in offseason the home felt a bit shut-up. A focus on conservation and being eco-friendly was very much appreciated until we had to take cold water showers after our shark diving excursion in 50 F water (solar heaters during the day and on a...

What a beautiful place with two incredible hosts. Very well run with a homey feel, yet private, our view onto the ocean was spectacular. We were there rd of July so wintery and one things i loved was the heated tiled floor, so no getting out of bed onto cold tiles. Thank you and we will most definitely be back

So where do I start? The place is amazing! The decor is beautiful, with lots of little special touches. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable. The view is unbeatable. The staff are friendly, and nothing is too much for them. The lodge also has a big commitment to environmental and socio-economic sustainability. They only use locally sourced food, environmentally friendly...

Me and my girlfriend stayed for 2 nights in april 2015. First of all the town is amazing and have lots of things to do. The guest—house itself is also amazing, looks great, nice pool, tasty home made breakfest and the managers are very nice couple that will help you with everyting: directions, where to eat, what to do and...
