Staff very friendly and helpful, but this establishment is clearly in need of some TLC. For the same price we stayed in a Guest House in Canoneiland which was 5 star. The only meal we had was breakfast, and that was fine - usual fresh fruit, juices, yoghurts, cereals plus the hot option of eggs, bacon, tomato, bacon, sausage, mushroom...

Best accomodation available in Clanwilliam. 3 Star. All staff very friendly and accommodating. Rooms clean. We stayed in Junior Suite and kids stay in standard room. Suite was very nice and huge. Standard room very small. Hotel is in need of maintenance throughout. Food is terrible. In fact the food and dining room reminds me of my days in the...

While the staff were friendly and helpful this venue was much less thn expected for the price. The room was small and there was crumbling paint on the walls. We had dinner there on one night which was expensive and rather awful. The breakfast is terrible with the fresh squeezed orange juice the only really winner. Overall I would say...

The broken glass in the entrance door is a clear indication of the standard of maintenance throughout. Our room had 3 broken window panes and the patio around the pool (which was pretty green) was very unstable and cracked. There is little attention to repair and the staff seemed more interested in their own activities. In general a dull, poor place to stay

Has parking and reasonably located - that's the positive. The rest is awful. Apparently a review must be at least 200 characters... Um... Poor maintenance. Horrible breakfast. Coffee so weak it is practically homeopathic. Birds in the food. Condiments greasy to the touch. Tables not clean etc. Room damp and aircon remotes not available...

We went thru for breakfast this morning since we are staying in Clan William for the weekend. Firstly it took an hour of waiting before the food finally came.. What a disappointment.. My meal, a chicken burger was terrible..at 80 for the meal the roll was stale, chicken pattie too tough to digest.. My friends bought the hot wings which...

Terrible maintenance of the hotel: cracks everywhere, pool with algae and leaves floating around, aircon full of dust. Dirty towels, broken toilet that I had to fix myself. We had breakfast on a pique-nique table! When we wanted to have dinner, it smelled worst than a cheap fast-food, that made us look for somewhere else to eat. Breakfast was basic...

Very noisy from 6 o'clock in the morning and after 8 o'clock in the evening. The towels must be replaced at is old and not white anymore. The matress must also be replaced....

The lodge's accomodation was acceptable for the price paid and they have upgraded the bar and lounge area to really look lovely. The staff were fantastic especially the barman Jimmy who you could sit and chat to for hours. He has been there since day one. Although the staff looked happy they were despondent with the way the restaurant was being managed...

very bag hygienic conditions - disgusting food - poor management. This lodge does not deserve to be fully booked as it was during Easter week end. The room was really dirty on arrival (especially carpet on the floor). toilet seater was almost broken. towels are not smelling freshness.... On the food side, nothing much to say apart that you can...
