The good and the bad.... Good : we were allowed to take our dog and she loved it. However, if our dog didn't suffer from travel stress, we probably would have turned around and gone straight back to C.T. We stayed two nights at this beautiful guest farm situated 17km from Barrydale. Its right below beautiful a mountain range in the karoo. Our rooms were stunning with a real 'farm' feeling but with a modern twist. The staff are very helpful and friendly and make you feel right at home. Its a few km from Barrydale which is beautiful...

This farm has recently been taken over by new managers. Didn't quite know what to expect and were pleasantly surprised. The farm has been in the wrong hands for a long time and is in need of lots of love, care and a few upgrades, however these are all in very good hands under the lovely ladies and new management...
