My wife and I stayed 3 nights at Safari Lodge in an Elephant room in September 2014. We both agreed that the lodge, staff, service and game viewing in Sabi Sands were absolutely first rate and the finest we have experienced in many visits over 20 years to Eastern and Southern Africa. Always greeted with a smile and addressed by... More

We were recommended this lodge by a friend. It was our first safari and we wanted to go somewhere special for part of our honeymoon experience. The Safari Lodge at Ulusaba and the Romance package we booked didn't disappoint. We had the most amazing Game Drives (a special shout out to team Matt & Eric who were both knowledgable, approachable,... More

Wholeheartedly agree with all the other reviews, an amazing experience, everything you would expect from Richard Branson and more. We stayed for 4 nights to celebrate an anniversary and the staff are all amazing and cannot do enough for you. The game drives were brilliant, we had Sean and James as our ranger and tracker and they were excellent. Also... More

I don't think it gets better than this. My wife and I stayed here as part of our honeymoon and we couldn't be more pleased. I knew this was one of Branson's establishments prior to our arrival, but nothing can really prepare you for the kind of impression the lodge makes upon setting foot in it. Totally worth it. Everything... More

I visited Ulusaba for a 3rd time in February, and yet again it was fantastic. I just love this place, it's peaceful and relaxed and in my opinion it is very difficult to find any fault in it at all! The game this time was better than ever. A close encounter with a rather exuberant elephant, wild dog which I... More

We came to Ulusaba Safari Lodge for the beauty of the wilderness, the animal encounters,a little bit of luxury and to get married. The overall experience was more than we could have hoped for. We were in River Room 2, complete with balcony, heated plunge pool and the best shower I've ever had the pleasure to stand under. We were... More

Nothing prepared us for how magnificent our visit to Ulusaba would be. Without my pictures and shared memories, I'd thought it was a dream instead of reality. Sir Richard Branson outdid himself. Huge tree-house guest rooms which are interconnected to a main gathering area via rope bridges...safely above the wild animals below. The trackers, staff and Lonnie (spelling?) the General... More

There is little I can add to what others have said. We have had an amazing family holiday here and it delivered far more than we ever hoped for. Whilst all the staff were great, a special mention must go to Sean our ranger and James our tracker who made the whole experience exceptional. Seans knowledge of all things relating... More

if you want to go on a Photo Safari in South Africa with 5 star service and accommodations go to Ulusaba. It is Richard Branson's private game reserve. It is not cheap but it is also not as expensive as you would imagine, especially for the experience. They made all the arrangements from Johannesberg to the private landing strip at... More

Just stayed 4 nights at the Safari lodge...I cannot praise it highly enough. All the staff are very professional and friendly in equal measure. The attention to detail by all concerned is just perfect....I sincerely hope to return.....utterly fantastic. I know all these superlatives are used liberally these days....but the whole experience from Jo'berg and back to Jo'berg and everything... More
