We spent 4 nights with our family at Rocktail Bay, and enjoyed every moment! Rocktail is a luxury camp, well managed by Natalie and Willem, and is an inspiring experience for all ages. We had a great celebration of our daughter's birthday, and Natalie worked very hard to make all the special arrangements for the family party. The accommodation was...

We drove down the D1850 to Rocktail and honestly, I'm glad we did. We missed the plantations that have replaced the wonderful indigenous forest in which Rocktail is nestled. The cabins are wonderfully situated above the forest canopy....well ours was, but depending on where they put you, you might not be. Getting to and from our cabin therefore involved a...

Rocktail is absolutely spotless. They'll pick you up if you don't have a 4x4, will bring your luggage to your room, pick you up for dinner and leave no wish open. The tents have the most amazing view, unobstructed onto the open sea. The food is amazing and they offer a variety of activities to choose from.

We stayed in Rocktail Camp in late August for three nights. This is a beautiful and peaceful place, with a strong eco aware ethos. The rooms are spacious, high-end tents, located at a distance from each other, so you have a lot of privacy and great views over the coastal forest and ocean. The food is excellent and the staff...

Dear Myrto G, Thank you for your beautiful review, we are delighted to hear how much you enjoyed your stay with us and had such a great time scuba diving. Sorry to hear there were not many animals during your drive to Lake Sibaya but luckily the beauty and tranquility of the surroundings made up for this. Thank you again....

With a warm welcome from the staff and welcome drinks we enjoyed a pleasant lunch and shortly thereafter settled into our room. What is not always clear when making reservations, the rooms are tented, and with quite a walk down a path. (I loved it by the way). Even though rooms can be wide open when sides are rolled up,...

Rocktail is a quaint lodge in an amazing setting in the middle of beautiful dune forrest close to the magnificent Indian ocean. Deserted beaches guaranteed. Best of all it offers amazing diving experiences through the next- door dive centre. Humpback whales with babies aplenty. Had the unique pleasure of diving with two whales. Beautiful reefs where your group will be...

Had a family 5 night stay in August and had a great time with all the activities available. Whale and dolphin watching, snorkelling to see the tropical fish, hippo spotting, scorpion hunting at night and a lodge supplied picnic on the longest stretch of perfect pristine empty beach I have ever seen. Tents are comfortable but fairly basic, food always...

Unique bush experience. Our first time in tented accommodation and it was very comfortable. Special location, the staff go out of their way to give good service. The food is good but limited variety. There is a wide variety of activities offered by the lodge so the family had a good time.

We are a family if 5, kids ages 5, 6 and 8 and we had a fantastic stay! Accommodation is beautiful, meals were great and staff friendly. The walk to the beach (with kids about 30 min) is magical. Favourate activities were sandboarding and scorpion hunting.
