Spent one night here. The room was clean, large, and decent. It's an ugly chain hotel on an ugly strip of road in a very beautiful place. It's distant from the downtown area and traffic was busy. It's not really walkable to any downtown sites you may want to see. Breakfast was okay. It may be the best deal in...

We paid a very high price for a suite with a couch. The couch doesn't turn into a bed as we expected but that was probably my fault. However, the rooms were drab (except for fairly new looking bedspreads) and there wasn't much attention to detail when cleaning. Edges of the room and sliding door were very dirty and someone's...

Not a bad property overall. Lacks an elevator which they don't mention until AFTER you have your room on the 2nd floor and which means changing rooms or schlepping bags upstairs. All the first floor rooms face either the parking lot or pool, so during the busy season it could get noisy. Housekeeping was indifferent at best. Towels at the...

I visit Taos periodically for pleasure and prefer La Fonda and El Monte Sagrado. But I needed to travel for one night to Taos in October for business so was looking for a rate my company would cover. Ordinarily, I would have booked a room with the Hampton Inn. The Comfort Suites, however, was at least $30 cheaper for the...

Very nice rooms, spacious and reasonably priced. Pros: Spacious rooms, comfortable beds, all rooms come with a standard king and queen bed. High speed internet (ethernet cable required). Microwave and small fridge in every room. Pool and hot tub! Staff friendly and helpful. Cons: OLD, OLD carpets in the rooms and hallways. Old property but maintained well. Breakfast is o.k.,...

We had a great experience and were pleasantly surprised with the room decor and amenities at this price, as Taos doesn't come cheap. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The many pillows and luxurious comforter on the bed was a nice and luxurious touch. Having a second TV and phone in the sitting area were unexpected extras and also...

I usually stay at the Hampton Inn but for 80/night vs 140, I decided I would try the Comfort Suites. First the positives: the bed was VERY comforable, and the in room high speed worked great. Now the not so greats: the carpet was soiled BAD! I looked like it needed to be taken up and new laid down. The...

I agree with the review just below mine. Everything they said is correct. Very comfortable accomodations, luxery towels, great bed, tons of pillows on each bed and the pillows were so comfortable. The room was not your average hotel room. It had Southwest charm and a mountain view (if you get a room on the North side.) The staff was...

Older property but well maintained. Clean. old southwestern decor. Better than new plastic look. Good beds. Good shower. luxury towels. Warm, inviting, breakfast room. Good variety of food. yes, ask for room on north side. No elevator. avoid BIG pothole in parking lot.

We spent one night at this hotel during a recent road trip. The lobby has a beautiful southwestern-style fireplace designed by a local artist, and I liked the southwestern decorating motif in the room. The room was spacious enough for the four of us. One unusual feature was that the sink is in an alcove between the bathroom and the...
