If you just need a place to sleep this hotel is ok. The rooms are old and musty and in one room we rented the heat didn't work. The staff tried to be helpful but the facility is just run down. The breakfast is terrible. You are better off going to sonic.

I learned a lot about the hotel and I don't recommend staying there...at all. The prices may seem like a steal, but spend a little extra somewhere else and save yourself a bad experience. Breakfast isn't fresh whatsoever, and you're bound to feel gross after eating it. The danishes barely meet the criteria for acceptable consumption, as they can be...

Breakfast was virtually non existent. Had to wait a quarter of an hour for coffee. The breakfast area and adjoining bathrooms were filthy. Pool not operational. WiFi in rooms not functional. No new towels in room; must call desk. Avoid.

The hotel could have been nice if had not been neglected for so long. Windows broken, tiles cracked, tub permanently stained, blankets and comforter threadbare. Breakfast was a joke, non dairy creamer and toast or day old Danishes. The exterior was quaint but in need or major overhaul. I hope the management reads this and decides to spend some money...

You can tell this place used to be special, the original management investing in good looking buildings and interiors appropriate for the area. My guess is the last 5 to 10 years they've milked this place and let the maintenance and upgrading slide. There are many things I really want to like about this place. While somewhat modern the faux...

The Good: Room was clean and available. Okay place to stay and sleep. Staff was friendly. The Bad: Hot Tub is broken and has been for a while. It was more cold then the pool. Wifi was on but no one was able to connect to it. When I brought this up the Front Desk explained that it was not...

We stayed two nights at the Hotel Don Fernando De Taos. Nice place to stay. The room is large, clean and quiet. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The breakfast buffet is pretty good. Good location.

Spent a night in a suite 3/3/15. Have stayed there before and have seen the rooms slowly turn into an embarrassment. Sort of a skid row feeling. This time was the last straw. No more will we stay there. Furniture is easily 10 years past its life, filthy bathrooms, no drain plugs in sink or tub, rattling heaters, white towels...

My husband and I stayed here with my sister and brother in law several years ago and were very pleased with the quality of the rooms, landscaping and general atmosphere so when we decided to visit again, we chose to stay here. We are in an annex, it looks like the landscaping is still nice and the lobby and restaurant...
