We enjoyed our stay here because the rooms are clean, the property is located very close to various sights, and it was quiet. The service staff are friendly, breakfast was good, and we would stay again. Disadvantages are simply that the facility is older, and the decor is dated. If that is crucial, there are many other places to stay....

Thanks! for your visit at the Kachina Lodge. Our service staff was encouraged by your nice comments. Yes, we too, see this Hotel has aged which makes it unique and enjoyable. W. Dean Koop, General Manager

Not a 5-star type experience if that is what you desire. But, if you want something affordable and clean with nice atmosphere this will work for you. An old style hotel with a courtyard for parking I find our room a little older but clean. The pool and hot tub were officially closed but the woman at the front desk...

Maybe at one time this was the place to stay? But, my stay was very disappointing. The room was musky, old, the bed smell like mildew. The floor wall heaters are very outdated. The desk clerk told us that breakfast buffet was part of the deal, and when we arrived for breakfast, the food was cold and there was no...

Last week I was lucky enough to get to stay at the Kachina Lodge again. When I walked in (without a reservation) the Front Desk clerk Heather looked up and said, "Welcome back Mr. Parker". Given that I can't remember anyone's name it was a pleasant surprise for her to remember my name when I hadn't been there in over...

25 or 30 years ago, this was a delightful place to stay, but it has gone totally downhill. Every thing looks old, seedy and dirty. Someone needs to buy it and totally update and clean everything. Some rooms appear to not be available because they haven't been kept up. And there don't seem to be enough employees to really clean...

I stayed for two nights in a room at the kachina lodge I told housekeeper eleneor that the people in the room next to ours in room166 were making to much notice she said no one has been in that room for a few weeks due to a live in guest that died of a overdose in there. We were...

This fictitious comment had to be made by a discharged housekeeping co-worker to Eleanor, who was dismissed for a verbal assault on Eleanor while at work. Eleanor remembers nothing about the incident. To say "plus our room was dirty" is very unspecific. All of our rooms are cleaned by trained maids and inspected by a Supervisor for cleaning quality and...

The Kachina Lodge was a great hotel 25 years ago when it was a Best Western. I guess there was a reason they lost that franchise. The place looks exactly like it did 25 years ago, and I mean EXACTLY. There has been nothing done to keep the the place up to date, or up to par. They still advertise...

We were told our rooms would have a refriderator and we were offered a team rate for 10 plus guests. We checked in on Friday June 13 and our room had no refriderator to put my wife's insulin. My daughter was playing softball all day in the wind, so you can just imagine how dirty we all were. All we...

Our account of your stay revealed that you sought a lot of unreasonable demands during the evening and night time while you drank alcoholic beverages and red wine amongst the twelve to fifteen year old baseball team boys you were chaperoning. After being beside the pool and then taking their beverages to a group of three adjacent rooms on the...
