Richard's property is top class in all ways, the location, the artistic decor, the comfort, the chickens (!), the friendly staff, the beautiful gardens. We feel at peace here and very welcomed. It's fun to feed the chickens and hang out in the spacious garden with its many seating areas-- a very relaxing way to spend a few days.

There is no place like Casa Gallina. We love to spend our time in any of the casitas and wandering the gardens. A sense of calm and a natural joy infuse us during our stay. There is no better place to be, in Taos, or in New Mexico, in our opinion ! Thank you Richard !

My husband and I were thrilled to spend our wedding anniversary at this delightful inn. We fell in love with this spot as soon as we arrived. The natural backdrop, the farm, and the unique/tasteful decor was utterly captivating. Almost instantly, we pushed back our return flight to extend our stay. And Richard is the best host you could ask...

Casa Gallina is a great place for a weekend or romantic getaway. It's close to downtown, beautifully appointed, quiet, and has a rural feel. Owner Richard is the perfect host. This is our favorite place to stay in Taos.

We so enjoyed our weekend at Casa Gallina! The casitas are beautiful along with the grounds. Our host Richard thought of everything! We felt right at home and were greeted with wine and appetizers. We shall be back!

What a wonderful place to get away from it all! We stayed in the Casa Grande. Arrived to a warm stove and adorable, comfy house, filled with creative and interesting decor to walk around and look at, discover. Book shelves to peruse, grab a book, a cup of coffee, and relax with. Fresh eggs from the girls every morning, so...

Just returned from a weekend in Taos at Casa Gallina. This is how to experience this town. Outstanding accommodations, nice touches like the snacks and fresh eggs, spotless and comfortable. Richard was an excellent and attentive host. The casitas are very well equipped, The chickens look like they've been freshly laundered, and the rooster was kind enough to hold off...

If you're visiting Taos for the first time, Casa Gallina will be a part of the great memories you will have of the town. I live down the road (in Santa Fe) a laid-back paradise of a town. Taos (off-season)is even more laid-back, if such a thing is possible. I wanted some advice on choosing a hiking trail. Richard, the...

I can't say enough good things about Richard and Casa Gallina. If you enjoy being among beautiful objects and in natural beauty, this is THE place to be. Each casita is full of carefully chosen, comfortable, beautiful furnishings and artwork -- a feast for the eyes. And the grounds are as special as the casitas. The hens and roosters are...
