The building itself is very beautiful. The breakfasts are great, and it's walking distance to downtown. Our room was quite small and on the first floor; a bit cramped and I'm really not fussy about room size. A lot of noise from the people overhead. The bed was not the best. Sometimes it's like this staying in older buildings. Would... More

This is an attractive property with a southwest style inn fairly close to everything you'll want to visit. A good breakfast was served in the colorful common room with individual tables...nice if you aren't up for socializing with other guests early in the morning. Our room, Happy Trails, was not the one I had requested for our one night stay... More

Wonderful little cozy inn very close (walking distance) to La Loma plaza. It is an historical site so many parts of the inn are older but that only adds to its charm. Wonderful breakfast, coffee and cookies on the afternoon ( wine would have been nice, ha ha). Loved our visit and Jerry was very knowledgeable about the area and... More

Vintage… If you like vintage, you’ll love La Loma. Parts of the Inn are over 200 years old and other parts are newer. We stayed in the older building so that’s what our review is based on. First of all, it’s a little hard to find so follow the owner’s instructions. The entrance is clearly old style. I thought it... More

We stayed one night. The room was spacious and the newly remodeled bathroom was huge and very attractive. We appreciated the afternoon snacks and the coffee and sodas in the room. The breakfast was fine. I would recommend that guests not stay on the ground floor though. We could hear every creaking footstep of the guests staying on the floor... More

This is a great inn. Owners,Peggy and Jerry are very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the area. And the resident dog, Lacey is a sweety. Old, historic, but clean and comfortable. Lovely grounds to just sit and enjoy the day. The breakfasts are fantastic and snacks in the afternoon make this a great little inn.

Unknowing to us when we booked our stay, the owners of the inn, Jerry and Peggy, are originally from our home state of Colorado. They relocated 25 years ago and were former mayors of Vail and Avon. We had a lovely upstairs room in this historic property with all the amenities one could want. We both slept comfortably. There was... More

Inn is run by wonderful and friendly owners. We very much enjoyed our stay. Very homey feeling and our room had a beautiful balcony. Breakfast was home cooked and quite delicious. The inn is very close to Taos plaza, which has great shopping and restaurants.

What a wonderful inn off the beaten path, but close to it all. Spacious rooms with unique southwestern decor. The breakfast was superb with fresh fruits, freshly prepared quiche and about anything else you could want.
