The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The staff was kind and seemed to care about their jobs. Breakfast room was spacious and well-looked after. We stayed in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis and it seemed that extra precautions were being taken for cleanliness in the eating and food areas. It looked like our room had been mid-renovation and didn't get completed (spackle spots on walls unpainted, only one mirror, pink/orange ring in toilet & sink from water that has been sitting a long time, furniture not wiped down). The bedding and shower and fridge were clean. Overall a positive stay, just some attention needed for our particular room.

We felt this was an average Comfort Inn last time we visited, but staying on the main floor, we really enjoyed our visit this time. Room was clean with updated flooring and bath area and very clean. The pool area looked nice and the cookies late afternoon in the lobby area were a nice touch. Complimentary breakfast was also good, although they were a little short of eggs when we were there. Worth trying for short stays.

Made reservation on Feb. 8, 2021 w/6000 pt. & $80. Upon arrival, front desk clerk informed us that the hotel's hot water heater broke and did not know if/when it would be fixed. She had never given a credit so had to call her manager on the phone. The manager said I would have to call the 800 # since I used pt. Two customer service reps told me that I "brought 10,000 pt." and could not get my $80 credited on my card. I owed a restaurant and it was a health code violation to open w/out hot water. I believe it is the same for a hotel ESPECIALLY DURING COVID 19!

I looked up this place online and the rate was lower than what you could get in person. The desk clerk said I should book it online, so I did as I stood in front of him. I got the feeling that I shouldn't trust him. He received my booking, then said goofy stuff like, "they booked you in a pet room". What? the online booking through Hotel Tonight website does not choose a room, only the rate offered online by the hotel. It took him a long time getting a room for us. What's up with that? Then he gave us a 2nd floor room facing the I-40 freeway which was a mere 50 or so feet away. The price was the same as what he quoted us when we walked in. Something sneaky about this guy. This room was barely worth $100, but charged 50% more than that. The room was okay, even though we could hear the traffic all night. Hot breakfast was just average. Nothing special.

Quick overnight stay. It was very clear that the room was not cleaned very well between guests. We found dog food on the floor, and realized the room had not been vacuumed. When I went to let the front desk staff know that the room needed attention, they were not friendly at all. I really felt uncomfortable at this hotel. Would definitely go to a different option in Santa Rosa--many other hotels to choose from. This is a place to skip.

The customer service at this hotel is beyond excellent. The front desk staff is professional and kind. They go above and beyond what is expected to make sure that their guests feel comfortable. The room was clean, spacious, and inviting. The pool was excellent and the breakfast was phenomenal. If I am ever back here I will definitely be staying with them again!!

We booked through the choice website and confirmed a pet room but they didn't seem to know anything about that when we arrived. Possibly a communication issue from Choice. They assigned us to a nice room facing the pet courtyard. The pet area was very clean. Oddly access is through the pool so you can't get there in the morning before the pool opens. Although the breakfast was good the room was crowded and no one was wearing a mask. Hard for the hotel to control that of course.

As a mid range hotel this location met or exceed every aspect of my evaluation. Unusual, but I could not find one aspect of our stay and the hotel itself that was not perfect. We did not use it but the indoor pool was huge. This is a no dog hotel so you can get a first floor room and not have to go to an upper level to get away from dogs.

Friendly checkin with Lili and Friendly checkout with Michael. Clean lobby and clean bathrooms in lobby but rooms were dirty. Curtains and comforter had visible dirt and bathrooms are in need of deep cleaning. Two of our towels had yucky stains. I'm ok with some dust but the grime didn't make me feel comfy. The bed was comfy and coffee at breakfast was good. Breakfast with covid is simple...they offered two choices sausage egg and cheese biscuit or biscuits and gravy. No toast pancakes or cereal for kiddos. Thankful for a quiet restful night just needs a good deep scrub!!
