Easy on - off from Freeway and a quit place after a long drive. Not much for that advertised breakfast. Rooms comfortable and WiFi worked well. Not sure if this would be a place we would stay again, but it served its purpose for this night.
I normally stay at fancier places but in this trip we had a lot of stuff to load and unload so we wanted a motel with outside entrances. After reviewing the images and reviews of several nearby options, we selected this Econo Lodge. The parking lot is well lit and clean. No loitering when we arrived. The staff was pleasant. The room was clean. There were some nail hole repairs that had not been painted over yet. The beds were soft and squeaky. Three pillows per bed. There was USB charging options, a safe and kitchenette. The floor was laminate which was curious at first, but to be honest it is brilliant. I really felt the floor was cleaner than in a carpeted counterpart. There was soap in the room (which can’t be said for the big “H” chain I stayed at earlier). The water pressure was good, water hot, and it had a nice sized TV. No breakfast because of COVID but I wasn’t expecting it either. There were a couple of ants in the bathroom but not enough to complain about. In the morning the coffee in the room was awful. I’m not sure if it was the coffee or the water but we left it behind and went to a gas station. I know I have mentioned a lot of negatives and you’re wondering why I gave it 4 stars. That’s because I grade a hotel/motel based on expectation. I don’t expect high end accommodations at an Econo Lodge. I expect clean and safe. This motel provided that and a little more so it gets an above average rating. If you are driving through and want quick and easy, you can rest your head at this Econo Lodge with confidence. …
Nicest econo lodge motel I've ever stayed in. It was just as clean and nice as any quality inn I've stayed in which makes it 50 bucks cheaper great place. The place had everything in it that you could possibly need and if they didn't they would get it for you.
We love this place and always stay here on our yearly drive to Tucson from Canada. I know they take pets but you would never know it as the grounds are clean. Our room looked recently updated and was very clean.
Very simple, very economical, no frills but a clean and safe place to spend a night on the road. Pull your car right up to the room, no stairs to a second level; this is like an oldtime Route 66 experience. The window HVAC unit is easy to control, the beds are comfortable with nice sheets and comforters. I travel back and forth on I-40 and this place definitely goes on my list.
