I wanted to be near The Bosque, and this B&B greatly added to my experience. The room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed, with a large selection of books! Delicious food, lovely grounds (I enjoyed an outside cup of tea before leaving) and 5 AM coffee and hot tea in to-go mugs for us early-rising birdwatchers. I look forward to returning...

Because of flight delays coming in and an early start the following day, I was able to stay just a few hours, but Phoebe and Phil made me feel immediately right at home. Scrupulously clean, intensely quiet, and next time I'm there I WILL have breakfast!

It's all about the giant cookie jar full of Phoebe's homemade cookies .. and the wonderful breakfasts ... and the nice beds and bathroom .. plus a private entrance door from the parking area ... and the proximity to San Antonio's restaurants and the birds at Bosque del Apache ... We just can't say enough

My husband and I stayed at Casa Blanca Bed and Breakfast for the first time this January. We were pleased by the unique, well-cared-for old home and for it's warmth and charm. The breakfasts were delicious and abundant and different each of the four mornings we were there. Our room was lovely, the reading materials available were fabulous, and Phoebe...

I just returned from another wonderful visit to Casa Blanca Bed and Breakfast, which has become an essential part of my nearly annual trip to the Bosque del Apache Refuge. I've been staying with Phoebe for seven years, she and Phil are great fun and have made me feel like part of their extended family. I've occupied both the Heron...

Only few miles away from Bosque del Apache. Phoebe has been very helpful with lots of suggestions about the place and an overall very warm hospitality. The room was large and comfortable and had a private bathroom. Breakfast was delicious. There are big chances that other photographers would stay there and that allows sharing experiences and tips. I would certainly...

Gateway to the Bosque We have stayed at the Casa Blanca Bed and Breakfast for the past two years. The house is conveniently located in the town of San Antonio, New Mexico, about a ten-minute drive to the Bosque del Apache Refuge. The spacious house possesses an ambiance that wraps around you like your favorite overstuffed chair. The rooms are...

This is our 3rd stay at Casa Blanca and it is consistently nice for short stay. We stayed in the Heron room--it is spacious with very comfy bed and great bathroom. Bonus to have exterior door. We enjoyed some time in their pleasant patio. Thoroughly enjoyed the little birds attracted to the many bird feeders they have. They've added a...

Thanks so much for your review! I did want to note that we do indeed have wireless Internet access and are happy to provide the password to our guests. We find that the majority of our guests, like you, are spending their time at the wildlife refuge or in the surrounding natural areas, and don't care about being online constantly....

Phoebe and Phil are the best hosts anyone could wish for and the old adobe has been made very attractive and comfortable. Breakfast is as delicious as the rooms are comfortable. There are times when we need the comfort of Mother Nature. Fortunately the Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge provides relaxation in good measure. A perfect complement to the Bosque's ambiance is just up the road: the Casa Blanca Bed and Breakfast. A lovely house, built in a simpler time, is furnished nicely, with books aplenty ,antique furniture, and sturdy...
